The drama with the royal family seems to never stop!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their last public appearance as senior members of the royal family on Monday for Commonwealth Day, and their interactions with Prince William and Kate Middleton made headlines .
It hardly seems possible that Harry and Meghan’s announcement that they would be stepping back from their royal duties was in January.

That’s hardly any time at all, but there hasn’t been any shortage of drama since the pair wrote on Instagram that they intended to “step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent.”
“It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.”

They also noted that the decision to split their time between Canada and the UK had to do with their son, Archie, who was born in May of last year.
The British media has come up with a few different stories about how Harry and William aren’t getting along well post-split.

One paper alleged that Harry and Meghan had been pushed away from the Royal Family by Prince William’s “’bullying’ attitude,” and that “Harry felt that William was insufficiently welcoming towards Meghan when they first started dating.”
Harry and William fought back against that rumor in a rare joint statement.

“Despite clear denials, a false story ran in a U.K. newspaper today speculating about the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge,” the statement read.
Now the stories of drama seem to be coming from Kate and Meghan instead.
At the Commonwealth Services, fans felt that Kate had snubbed Meghan and Harry by not shaking their hand or acknowledging them.
Fans felt that it was pretty rude of Kate to not really acknowledge them with a wave or by leaning over to speak to them.
Some even called Kate a “mean girl” for her behavior.
“If they are bold enough to do this in public imagine how they are behind closed doors,” one fan tweeted.
Others thought that Will and Kate’s facial expressions were pretty revealing.
Of course, they could have just been tired, or distracted, thinking about a million other things, but who knows?
It didn’t seem like Kate was in a very smiley mood for much of the event.
Of course, there’s no saying that had anything to do with Meghan and Harry — although some fans certainly assumed that it did.
Some people were convinced there was some definite shade going on.
Especially given how Kate and Will were whispering to each other for much of the ceremony, fans began to wonder if they could have been talking about Meghan and Harry sitting behind them.
However, a professional lip reader for The Telegraph is attempting to put those rumors to rest.

According to the lip reader , Will was actually saying, “We can’t shake hands and we have to hold back. We will have to put loads of hand gel on afterwards.”
“I am not used to it, it feels weird.”

So there you have it! It looks like instead of talking about personal drama, Will may have been talking about the coronavirus instead.
Not necessarily a more positive conversation, but at least it’s (slightly) less dramatic.
It looks like the royals are all having trouble with the no-handshakes thing.
Prince Charles has been psyching people out by almost shaking their hands and then yanking his hand back when he remembers, so it looks like this is a hot button issue for the family.
