Alcohol has a way of affecting a person’s behaviors. It can cause us to say and do things we’d never dream of in a sober state of mind.
One such behavior that TikToker Gara Sullivan admits to is drunk-sleeping with her Guinea Pig. And as she was recently made to realize — it comes with heavy consequences .

Some of the services that Gara offers include things like lip blushing, as well as eyebrow micro-blading. When she isn’t in the studio, Gara likes to relax with her pet Guinea Pig, named Gabby.
Right away, you’ll notice that Gabby doesn’t look like most normal Guinea Pigs.
That’s because Gabby is what’s known as a Skinny Pig — a specific breed of Guinea Pig that only has fur on its feet, legs, as well as its muzzle. Beyond that, they’re mostly hairless.
Recently, Gara admitted to having a rather strange drunken behavior.
In one of Gara’s most recent TikTok videos, she revealed that whenever she’s had too much to drink, that she enjoys letting Gabby out of her cage, and allows her to sleep on the floor.
This past Thanksgiving morning, Gabby woke up to a rather unexpected surprise.
As Gabby was getting out of bed to go to the washroom, she happened to catch a glimpse of herself in the mirror. What she saw caused her to stop dead in her tracks.
“THIS CHICK DONE ATE MY BANGS OFF,” Gabby said.
It appears that while Gara was sleeping — Gabby was feasting! This seemingly cute and innocent little creature somehow managed to climb up onto Gabby’s bed and chewed her bangs to the bone.
The worst part is that Gabby seemed to do it out of spite, rather than nutritional need.
As Gara explained in her video, “She didn’t even eat the hair she just nibbled it off.” Pieces of Gara’s hair littered her bed, reminiscent of Sarah Michelle Gellar in I Know What You Did Last Summer .
Gara also made a follow up video in order to show what happened from her bangs’ point of view.
The up-close and personal TikTok video shows a fuzzy-faced Gabby happily munching away. As is clear to see from this perspective, Gara’s hair never stood a chance against Gabby.
So far, Gara’s video has received more than 8 million plays on TikTok.
The overwhelming majority of users appear to find the video nothing short of hilarious. Many people joked that it was Gabby’s hair envy that caused her to turn Gara’s bangs into a late-night snack.
TikTok user @kcheech13 joked, “May I suggest a guinea wig?”
Another user even saw fit to dub Gabby as “The Midnight Barber.” But as it turns out, there may be a more pragmatic reason for Gabby’s decision to prune her owner’s hair.
One of Gara’s followers pointed out that this is actually known Guinea Pig behavior.
The chewing or nibbling of hair is what’s known as ” barbering .” Oftentimes, Guinea Pigs will do this as a way to assert their dominance or when they are feeling stressed.
So if you, like Gara, also happen to be the proud pet parent of a Guinea Pig — don’t let them roam free while drinking.
Keep your rodents where they belong: in their cage. Otherwise, you just might wind up like Gara and wake up with significantly less hair than you had the previous night.
