The ongoing invasion of Ukraine has had tons of people finding new ways to support Ukrainian citizens, whether its through celebrities making donations or through people finding creative ways to get money in the hands of the citizens.
One company that makes custom Legos had their own unique idea for how to raise money for the cause.
Everybody loves Legos.
Some people love Legos so much they’ve made a career out of making unofficial customized Lego minifigures, like the company Citizen Brick , who have done tons of custom work ranging from pop culture to girl scouts and everything in between, including the Squid Game minifigs above.
Recently, Citizen Brick decided they wanted to help out citizens in Ukraine, and they knew just how to do it.
“In light of the recent invasion of Ukraine by the Russian military, Citizen Brick has decided to raise donations to help Ukrainian refugees,” they shared.

“During tomorrow’s sale, shoppers will have a chance to purchase these two custom items – the Molotov Cocktail ($10), and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy minifig ($100). Supplies will be very limited,” Citizen Brick shared on their Facebook .
“100% of the sale of these items will go to @directrelief to assist with their efforts to bring medical supplies to the people of Ukraine.”

“A huge thank you to everyone who donated to yesterday’s fundraiser for Ukraine,” they shared later on Instagram following the sale. “We we able to raise $16,540!!! The entire amount was donated to @directrelief to assist their efforts to bring medical supplies to those in need.”
Citizen Brick shared an update to their Facebook page.
“As you may have noticed, the minifigs sold out almost immediately.”
“We made as many as possible in a frantic 24 hrs, with the CB crew coming in on their day off to print. We know there were some folks who tried to get one and couldn’t. We hope they’ll consider making a direct donation to a relevant charity nonetheless. “
