The world is watching as Russia inches more and more into Ukrainian territory. Many celebrities have spoken out about the conflict. Last week, Ukrainian-born actress Mila Kunis broke her silence nearly a week after her husband, Ashton Kutcher, made a powerful tweet standing with the people of Ukraine.

Now, the pair is giving an update on their $30 million fundraising effort.

On Thursday, Hollywood power couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher launched a GoFundMe to raise money for the relief efforts in Ukraine.

Mila, who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, filmed a short video alongside Ashton where she spoke publicly for the first time about the "devastating" conflict in her native country.

The pair announced that their overall fundraising goal was $30 million and that they would match up to $3 million in donations.

The charities they chose to support are Airbnb.org and Flexport.org.

Flexport, a freight transporter, is helping to organize shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Moldova.

Airbnb is providing free, short-term housing to those fleeing Ukraine.

"I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. I came to America in 1991," Mila explained.

"I've always considered myself an American. A proud American. I love everything this country has done for myself and my family."

"But, today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian."

Ashton sweetly chimed in that he had never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian, which made my heart totally melt.

"The principal challenge right now is logistics," Ashton explained to his 4.5 million Instagram followers.

"We need to get housing and we need to get supplies and resources into the area."

"The people of Ukraine are strong and brave but being strong and brave doesn't mean you're not worthy of support," Mila added.

"We need to support the people of Ukraine."

On Sunday, Mila and Ashton posted an update in a new video.

“We just wanted to give you a quick update as to where we stand with the fundraising. We’re halfway through,” Mila said. “We’re super-excited, and we want to say thank you to each and every single one of you."

"It’s been an incredible past 48 hours. Over 30,000 people have donated to this cause. We’re halfway there," Ashton added.

"We’re at $15 million, and we’re heading to $30. We’re going to make this happen."

While chatting with the founders of both Airbnb and Flexport, the actor got emotional.

“There are some problems in the world that take a village to solve, and there are other problems that take the rest of the world. This is one of those other problems.”

What an incredible accomplishment, and I believe they will hit their target!
