Who here has gotten into planting lately? That’s definitely me. I’ve been fascinated by plants for as long as I can remember.
I’m always looking for unique ways to display the plants I have in my house. However, not all planters are created equal. Some of them need to stay hidden far away from everyone else’s view. See what I mean below and LOL with me.
These Doll Head Planters
If you always wanted to have a baby doll head served on a platter, this might suffice. For me, it’s just too weird to even consider as a planter. I want to get away from these as far as I can.
This Bathtub Planter
Bathtubs do make for a quick and easy raised garden bed, but nothing will change the fact that no matter how pretty it looks, you still have an old bathtub in your yard.
This Toilet Planter Idea
I don’t know about you, but I think toilets should remain in the bathroom. Some people find this idea cute, but to me, it’s just too literal. Especially, when you use lithops like this, am I right?
These Bird Planters
If there ever was an award for the ugliest planter, these bird planters here would have a good chance at winning. I generally like birds, but not when they look as scary as these. Are you with me on this?
These Denim Planters
I’m all for upcycling and eco-friendly DIYs, but I could easily see someone mistaking these for garbage. What else would you think if you saw a denim bag filled with dirt and a few plants?
These Face Planters
Okay, just when I thought things couldn’t get any weirder, they clearly do. Who in the world would enjoy something like this? I think it belongs on an episode of Weird or What . What’s your take on these?
This Multi-Face Planter
Speaking of faces, here’s another weird planter for you. I can see how this could appeal to some folks. However, I’m not one of them — that’s for sure. I’ll stick to planters that don’t stare back at me.
This Blender Base Planter
It is true that a succulent fits perfectly in the base of a blender, but is this really necessary? I guess if you like the industrial look, this planter would work but it’s not for me at all.
This Eyesore
What did I say about things staring back at me? If it wasn’t bad enough having two eyes, this one-eyed planter is even more creepy. It’s funny how somebody just casually decided to hang it up there.
This Boogeyman
If you ever wanted to conjure a Boogeyman, this planter might be it, ha, ha! I don’t know about you, but I don’t need to bring a cursed planter into my house. No, thank you. I’ll pass.
This Baby Doll Planter
Somebody actually thought that using a baby doll as a planter like this was an attractive idea. They even made the doll some clothes. Hmm, not exactly what I would do, but okay. What do you think?
This Bedpan Planter
I’m not even sure where someone found a bedpan in this day and age, let alone why they decided to turn it into a planter of all things. Their succulents do look healthy, so maybe bedpans make for a good planter after all.
These Shoe Planters
I’m sure these shoes were worn on many nights out on the town. Now, in their second life as planters, they just look sad. I’m still trying to figure out how the soil stays in these strappy shoes.
What did I tell you?
It seems to me that some folks have an unusual taste in terms of choosing their flower planters. I just want to stick to those that are sweet and cute. I’ll leave the evil ones for other people.
