Bruce Lee was one of the biggest movie stars/martial artists in the history of Chinese cinema. For a while. it looked as if his son Brandon would follow in his footsteps.
Sadly, Brandon was shot and killed in a freak accident while filming The Crow .
Kirk and Michael Douglas at 42.
The Douglas family is practically Hollywood royalty.
Kirk is regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time, while his son Michael was also able to carve out an incredibly successful career in Hollywood.
Tom and Colin Hanks at 32.
I think it goes without saying that Tom Hanks is a dying breed. He exudes kindness, professionalism, but most of all — compassion.
His son Colin is a formidable comedic actor in his own right. I’m still hoping that somehow Life in Pieces gets picked up for another season!

It’s hard to believe that Emilio was only 23 years old when he made The Breakfast Club .

The more I watch The Boys , the more I’m beginning to see these subtle nuances and similarities between Jack and Dennis.

Has there ever been an instance where a son has played his own father in a biopic about his life? There certainly aren’t any that immediately come to mind.
It’s as if Ice Cube is looking at a mirror into the past.
Stellan and Alexander Skarsgård at 44.
The entire Skarsgård clan has been bitten by the acting bug, but it’s eldest son Alex that looks the most like his father.
They have the exact same cold, piercing stare — almost as if they’re looking right through you.
Denzel and John David Washington at 36.
Have you seen Tenet yet? It was freaking mindblowing, in large part thanks to the magnetic performance of John David Washington.
I don’t know if we’ll ever see this father/son duo on the big screen together, but here’s hoping!
James and Scott Caan at 32.
Don’t underestimate Scott Caan. He may present himself as being a bit of a goof, but his acting abilities didn’t fall far from the tree.
He speaks with the exact same conviction and force as his father.
Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. at 35.
I like to consider myself an expert with it comes to the canon of one Marlon Wayans Sr. I’ve probably watched Major Payne about 40 times in my lifetime.
When I first saw Coach on New Girl , I thought I’d seen a ghost.
Kurt and Wyatt Russell at 32.
Wyatt has slowly and quietly been building a name for himself. If you’re looking for a good scare, you should definitely check out his episode of Black Mirror .

Am I the only one who is clamoring for a reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air , only with Jaden playing Will Smith?!
How incredibly cool and meta would that be? They’re practically the same person.
John and Jason Ritter at 29.
John Ritter became famous for his perplexed facial expressions. His awkward, charming sense of humor helped him burrow his way into the deepest recess of our hearts.
Jason has all of his dad’s charisma, as well as his boyish good looks.
James and Josh Brolin at 40.
Picture Josh with a little more facial hair and these two could be brothers! I’d say we’re probably due for another sequel to The Amityville Horror , so maybe Josh could star in it this time around?
Martin and Charlie Sheen at 39.
That’s right, Martin Sheen has not one but two famous sons! I personally think he naturally looks more like Emilio, but Marty and Charlie definitely have the same expressiveness to their features.
Val and Jack Kilmer at 25.
Jack Kilmer looks like a mini Iceman in the making. If you gave him a quick haircut and slapped a flight suit on him, I’d wager you’d be hard-pressed to tell this father/son duo apart.
Especially if they were both wearing aviators.

Jaycee and Jackie have an identical smile. When I look at these photos, I’m instantly transported back to my youth.
Speaking of which, I think I’m long past due for another viewing of Rumble in the Bronx .

When you look at the Busey men, one word comes to mind: teeth. When Gary and Jake smile, it looks like they’re smuggling piano keys in their mouths.
