If you’ve ever been the victim of harassment or bullying , you know how awful that can feel. It’s never okay to treat another person that way.
So what would you do if you were a female college student who kept being harassed by her male classmates? That’s exactly what happened to this one student, and in the end, she took matters into her own hands in the most creative way.
Check this story out.

An 18-year-old college student going by the Reddit handle u/Left_Wrap_5352 recently shared her experience at school. Apparently, she’s been bullied and harassed by three guys in her class. She ended up reporting them to the school, but that only escalated things.
The guys have taken to messaging her online with gross and harassing messages.

But it gets worse. They even started sending her NSFW pictures which were completely unwelcomed by her. So she did something quite interesting. She started screenshotting all the messages. Then she went on the guys’ Facebook profiles and found their moms.
What do you think she did next?

She actually contacted the moms and sent them copies of the screenshots. Of course, she included an explanation of who she was, and how she was being harassed by their sons. Needless to say, the mothers were shocked and horrified by the behavior of these young men.
That’s pretty genius, right?

I mean, she could have just blocked them online, but I don’t think the harassment would have ended there. So to put a real end to this, she did the only thing she could think of to stop the bullying. Not surprisingly, the mothers were all on her side.
Most of her friends thought this was a great strategy.

However, some thought she might’ve gone too far. They said she shouldn’t have put that pressure on their moms and that she doesn’t know what the guys’ home life might be like. Fair enough.
But after she posted her story on Reddit, she got a lot of positive feedback.

Pretty much everyone said that what these guys were doing was wrong. And that putting the fear of their moms’ wrath in them might have been the only thing that worked. After all, you don’t want to ‘piss off’ your mom. Am I right?
This lady did all she could to end this.

She reported this harassing behavior to the school, but the guys only got a warning. And that prompted them to escalate things by sending her obscene pictures, so what else could she have done? There shouldn’t be blame directed toward the actual victim. She’s the one who didn’t welcome any of this.
A lot of commenters said this.

This woman chose an option that would cause the guys less trouble for their future. Instead of escalating things with the authorities and possibly getting them kicked out of school, she went to the ultimate home authority — their moms. If that’s not clever and effective, I don’t know what is.
So, what’s your take on this?

Do you think this female student was right to contact her harassers’ moms to inform them of their sons’ bullying and inappropriate behavior? I think so. She could have caused them a lot more problems, but she did what she thought could possibly end this once a for all. I say kudos to her. Sexual harassment and bullying are never okay to do to anyone.
