Jameela Jamil never misses a chance to roast the Kardashians — or any other celebrities that promote unrealistic beauty standards to their fans.
But this time, Kim Kardashian is in the hot seat for releasing body makeup .
If you’ve heard of Jameela Jamil, then you probably already know she is kinda the queen of roasting people on Twitter.
She’s usually fighting the good fight — trying to take down diet culture.
Every time a celeb advertises “detox tea” on Instagram, Jameela is there to shut it down.
Like the time she called out Khloé Kardashian for promoting “Flat Tummy” shakes on Instagram, calling her irresponsible.
“If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product…,” she said.
“And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy, then I guess I have to.”
“It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance,” she continued.
“That’s the media’s fault . But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt.”
“You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.”
She’s also dragged Kim in the past for promoting appetite suppressing lollipops on Instagram .
“Maybe don’t take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your brain and work hard and be successful,” Jameela tweeted.
“And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than ‘I had a flat stomach’.”
“No. [Expletive] off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls,” she continued.
“I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative and innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to .”
Kim and Khloé eventually responded to Jameela’s protests.
Khloé explained in an interview that she does , in fact, promote workouts to her fans as well.
“Well, listen, I am showing you what to do, silly person, 15 repetitions, three times, here’s the move …,” she said.
“If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority.”
“If someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider,” Kim added.
She concluded, “You’re going to get backlash for almost everything.”
“So, as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re okay with that.”
Even Kris Jenner weighed in on the issue.
“I don’t live in that negative energy space,” she said “Ninety percent of people will be really excited about the family and the journey and who we are,” she said .

Jameela responded to Khloé, Kim, and Kris’ comments — reaffirming her stance on the topic.
“Essentially, [expletive] the young, impressionable people, or those struggling with eating disorders, we want the money.’ I have been given these same opportunities to flog this stuff, and I don’t do it, so they don’t have to. Thank you, next .”
This time, she’s going after Kim’s latest beauty product: Body foundation. And she didn’t hold back.
Evidently, Jameela feels very passionately about self-love, body positivity, and women’s advocacy — and this body make-up just didn’t fit with the movement.
Kim took a video of her latest product in action — using her grandmother’s arm as a model.
“My grandma MJ asked me about my Body Makeup and wanted me to come over to help cover her veins,” she captioned the video .
“North & I went straight to her house & showed her exactly how to use it & I love how happy she is with the results!”
“My body foundation really evens out and corrects your skin tone and conceals veins and bruises,” she explained .
After seeing the product, Jameela immediately challenged it — claiming it’s impractical, and would stain your bed sheets.
“Hard pass. God damn the work to take it all off before bed so it doesn’t destroy your sheets…” she said .
“I’d rather just make peace with my million stretch marks and eczema,” she added.
“Taking off my mascara is enough of a pain in the arse. Save money and time and give yourself a damn break .”
Jameela revealed she has a skin condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which means every time she gets a cut, she scars.
She wants women to find piece with their “flaws” and not feel the need to cover them up.
Fans of Jameela had some things to say about her strong stance against the body makeup.
It can be confusing territory to navigate to say the least.
Jameela clarified she just wants to know *why* women are expected top be perfect.
Which is absolutely a FAIR question.
This fan felt Jameela was becoming a bit too preachy.
“We can love ourselves whilst also being “caked” in makeup.” One user wrote.
But Jameela clarified she only wants to shine a light on these issues so other girls don’t waste time hating themselves.
“It’s never my intention to do anything other than stop young girls wasting as much time and money on hating and covering themselves as I did.”
I hope Kim’s body makeup helps people feel beautiful if they want it to, but to also remember they’re beautiful without it, which is why it’s important to have discourse like this!
