When we first have kids , we never realize how much time of our lives is spent just watching them.
Having kids is a full-time job in the sense that you can never take your eyes off of them. They get into our cabinets, our closets, our drawers, and they take everything that they are not supposed to take. That’s why we end up taking things away from them.
Just straight up chewing on glass.
“My young son was just crawling, and one time I saw he had something in his mouth. He was reluctant to give it up, but I sideswiped his mouth just like on a puppy. Finally spat it out – a large shard of glass. Absolutely no idea where it came from or where he got it,” said Tammytalkstoomuch.
A whole meat cleaver.
Psychological_Bat865 said her 2-year-old son had learned how to “scoot” his highchair across the kitchen and didn’t think much of it. Until, that is, one day she ran to go pee and when she came back he had a whole meat cleaver in his hands. Yikes!
Mommy’s toys to class? No thank you.
CozmicOwl16 says that a 2nd grader (not their child) brought one of their mom’s “toys” to class, thinking it was a back massager and wanted to give everyone a “back rub” with it. Imagine how mortified that mom must have been when she got that phone call home!
Spiders, because she wanted to eat them.
DMWv1 shared that there was a point in their daughter’s life when she “liked the taste of spiders.” Apparently, they had to constantly make sure she didn’t have any spiders so that she wouldn’t eat them.

Camp_Spirited says her daughter was playing with what she thought was a rock, but, it turned out to be the furthest thing from a rock. It was the crown of someone’s tooth. Whose tooth? No idea.

Rd144 shared that her sister had a whole tantrum when her mom had thrown away the “dolly” she had found in the woods. Now, this wasn’t just any dolly, it was a blow-up doll that you buy at an “adult store.”

spitzbikki says that their 3-year-old came home from the park with a “new pen” to show mommy. And, before she knew it, there was the pen in his mouth. Turns out the pen wasn’t a pen, it was a vape.

Sonyabean23 says that she found a pumpkin carving kit in her daughter’s room when she was younger. Apparently, it was the whole kit, with hammers and knives. When asked why it was in her room, she said to “protect her from the bad guys.”
Why do kids love poop?!?
“I work at a daycare and one time a little girl came up to me and showed me some play doh material and said “ewww” and since i was helping another child i didn’t think much of it until i got a whiff of it… it was poop,” said Muzy55.

PSSGAMER says that they found a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in their father’s dresser drawer as a kid and wanted to try to do it, as they had seen in the movies. They lit it up, inhaled, and coughed so bad that it turned them off forever.
