Friends. It’s been a long, cold, lonely year. We had high hopes for 2021 and well, maybe we shouldn’t have. Sure, some things are back to normal, but as I come home, rip my mask off and sit down for another virtual meeting, I wonder where my consolation prize for making it through the year is.
Well, I am my own fairy godmother and I am here today to make all your wishes come true!
Traditions are very important, especially around the holidays.
I love making Christmas cookies with my kids and going Christmas Eve shopping with my husband. However, I also like flipping through the Australian Firefighters Calendar every year with a martini in hand.
And by martini, I mean a vodka soda in my daughter’s collectible “Clifford” cup that she had a meltdown over at the movies last month.
As you can guess, I need a treat right now.
We all do!
So friends, here it is. The long-awaited, highly anticipated Australian Firefighters Calendar for 2021!
If you’re new to this tradition, it’s quite literally photos of gorgeous, buff firefighters from Australia posing with various animals.
I know, right? Now you know why I look forward to it every year.
For example, here is Aussie firefighter Nathan with a koala.
Oh, and he’s shirtless, I may have forgotten to mention that part. But of course, they’re ALL shirtless — it is the most wonderful time of the year after all!

Ricky and this fluffy cat are truly making me swoon. I would call him to come to rescue my cat every single day, and spoiler alert — I don’t have a cat!

Oh what’s that, you’re more of a horse gal? Well, don’t worry — the Aussie Firefighters didn’t forget about you!

I don’t blame you, I think he might be my favorite too but shhh, don’t tell the others!
