1. Sophie Turner’s finger tattoo.
“@mr.k_tattoo for my grandad. My hero,” the Game of Thrones alum captioned this pic.
Her husband, Joe Jonas, also got a tattoo in honor of his grandfather. “For Papa Miller,” he wrote on Instagram.
2. Rihanna’s chest tattoo.
The singer has plenty of tattoos (the Egyptian Goddess Isis one under her chest is gorgeous), but none contain quite as much meaning as this one.
She has “Never a failure. Always a lesson” written backward under her right clavicle.
While on *The Ellen DeGeneres Show*, she revealed that she got it written backwards so that she can read it in the mirror.
“It’s basically saying that it’s OK to make a mistake. Just don’t make them twice,” she shared.
3. Dove Cameron’s snake tattoo.
As a proud feminist, Cameron got a snake tattoo to change the definition of female power.
“There’s been lots of mythology that equates femininity with snake-like behavior in a negative way,” she told Refinery29 .
Getting the tattoo was her was of “taking back the snake” for women.
“The snake is sexy and it represents new life — shedding the old image, rebirth, transformation and two worlds — so I put it on my middle finger. Call me a snake? I am a snake!”
4. Demi Lovato’s neck tattoo.
The star has weathered many personal storms over the years. This includes an eating disorder, a drug overdose, and the bipolar diagnosis they received in 2011.
To remind themselves of just how far they’ve come, they got this neck tattoo in 2019.
“I’ve been through a lot and I genuinely see a fighter,” they told *Teen Vogue*.
“I don’t see a championship winner, but I see a fighter and someone who is going to continue to fight no matter what is thrown in their way,” they continued .

5. Kendall Jenner’s finger tattoo.
Although her tattoo of a white dot is small, it holds a big significance to the model.
Her tattoo artist, Jon Boy, told Refinery29 : “To her, it’s the little things that matter.”
Or, as Rachel from Friends would say about the dot: “she got the whole world.”
6. Kylie Jenner’s arm tattoo.
Since Kylie is super close to her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, she got her grandmother’s name in her grandfather’s handwriting.
Like many of her other tattoos, she had it done in her signature red ink.
7. Lady Gaga’s arm tattoo.
Lady Gaga cherished making an album with Tony Bennett so much that she permanently commemorated their time together.
In 2014, Bennett designed this instrumental tattoo for her, which she got on her right arm.
8. Kesha’s hand tattoo.
After breaking her silence about the sexual assault allegations against her former producer, Dr. Luke, the singer was determined to “live free.”

David Beckham’s oldest son is following in his tattooed footsteps.
The budding photographer got the birth years of all his siblings. Romeo James was born in 2002, Cruz in 2005, and Harper Seven in 2011.
11. Adele’s ear tattoo.
The singer’s love for her son, Angelo, runs deep.
First, she has the letter “A” behind her ear for him. Then, she got another one for him that ended up being the same one Lana Del Ray has.
They both have “paradise” on their hand. Cause Angelo is my paradise,” Adele once told *Rolling Stone*.
“She probably thinks I’m, like, some mad fangirl,” Adele said about her and Lana sharing tattoos.
“I mean, I am a Lana fangirl, but not a crazy one.”
12. David Beckham’s hand tattoo.
The soccer star has made it a habit of getting tattoos dedicated to his family. He did just that in 2015 when made this scribble from daughter Harper permanent.
