Concern for Justin Bieber’s wellbeing has been rising among fans and friends alike as the singer posts about his struggles with mental health.
Recently, an article by The Hollywood Reporter claimed that the singer was ‘millions of dollars in debt’, with a representative later refuting these claims. But the singer seems to be going through a lot.
An insider spoke about his wellbeing
Among the recent concerns for the Love Yourself singer, an insider had told People Magazine that, “People are worried about him [Bieber].”
“He is facing a lot of different demons right now,” they said. “He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business.”
Bieber seems to be facing a lot of stressors
The Never Say Never singer seems to be in the face of a lot of issues at the moment, with a couple of his stressors being Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ upcoming trial – as Bieber was associated with him in the mid-2010s – and a strained relationship with former manager Scooter Braun.
He also had to sever ties with his own brand
Bieber has recently also severed ties with his own fashion brand Drew House, writing in a now-deleted Instagram Stories post made on April 10, “I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn’t represent me or my family or life.”
He told people to stop spending money on the brand
“If your [sic] rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste ur money on Drew House,” Bieber added in his post at the time.
The singer is now reportedly working on a new clothing line called SKYLRK.
A former team member claimed he was in debt
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber is ‘millions of dollars in debt’ after canceling his Justice Tour in 2022.
A former member of his team also claimed, “Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” they said. “He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”
But a rep for Bieber said it was ill-informed
Following The Hollywood Reporter’s article, a representative for Bieber refuted the claims that he was in debt, telling People Magazine, “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”
“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
Many have been concerned about Bieber
Fans and friends have been worried about Bieber for a while now as the singer has been candidly posting about his struggles with mental health.
“People told me my whole life ‘wow Justin u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy,” Bieber had written on his Instagram Stories on March 13.
He also made another post a week later
His Story continued, “Like I was a fraud, Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, Damn if only they knew my thoughts.”
Over a week later, he made a post with a zoomed-in picture of him as well as a throwback picture, writing in the caption, “I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh ????♂️.”
The singer said he struggles with self hatred
Bieber also posted later that same day about struggling to love himself, writing on a video of himself playing music, “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic.”
“Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough but I still hate when I change myself to please people,” he added.
