Fashion is subjective. You’ll never get everybody to agree that something looks good. That said, you can sometimes get everybody to agree that something looks awful .
The items in this list will probably make you feel a little bit better about wearing sweats today.

Anyone remember Super Mario Bros 2 ? No? Well, uh, this is awkward. But there was a boss in that game named Birdo. It would spit eggs out of its weird mouth. This sweater thing looks exactly like Birdo.

I can see a certain retro appeal in the generic hangers you get from the dry cleaner, but basing an entire outfit around it seems like a bit of a stretch.

There’s an argument to be made that even low-key high heels are a bad idea, just for what they do to the wearer’s feet. To wear these, though, I think surgical alteration to the feet might be required.

The model’s dress looks pretty typical for the runway, but I’m not sure about the splash effect that surrounds her. There’s a reason people don’t attach plastic wrap to their everyday outfits.
“Water you looking at?”
There’s a certain appeal to a suit that enables the wearer to float in the ocean while they listlessly stare at the sky, but this looks like it would get very hot very fast. At least remove the sleeves.
“NY Fashion Week: COVID edition. If I gotta wear a mask, might as well be extra.”
This is, in fact, extra, so OP’s caption is entirely correct. If I saw her in the street, I’d think I had run into some supervillain from the future.

OP provided some thoughts on the outfit on the left, but what about the one on the right? They look like a police sketch of a murderer.

People often complain that women’s garments are severely lacking in pockets compared to what men typically wear. I think this coat represents a bold new step in giving women the pockets they need.

Chaps are an awesome thing to wear if you’re a legit cowboy. If you’re a fashion model or literally anyone else, I think the utility of such a garment is questionable.

This looks ridiculous, but it also looks a lot like me when I don’t want to get out of bed on a chilly morning. Why not just take the bed with you for a full day of cozyness?

Puffy jackets are a brilliant invention: they keep the wearer warm, and the lush puffyness adds a feeling of comfort and security. For these reasons, I’m going to try not to judge this ridiculous coat too harshly.

I did a double-take here because I assumed I was just looking at some kind of blow-up doll. But no, I regret to inform you that this is actually a real thing worn by a real model at a real fashion show.

That big knob looks so three dimensional and realistic that you’d swear it was real. Shame about the placement on the shirt, though. If this guy’s a DJ, perhaps he can hide it behind his turntables.

Did the designer of this skirt think about what they were doing, or did they know exactly what they were doing? Honestly, I can see it going either way. In any event, this is a crime against fashion.

Putting aside the extravagant price and likely discomfort these shoes would cause, I want to point out that they look like absolute garbage. Did someone spray paint them or something?

This is cute: die at Rehoboth Beach and the gulls will fly around, picking at your bones. At least I think that’s what the message is trying to communicate. Whatever’s going on here, I like the aesthetic.
