Women Are Sharing The Fashion Designs They're Absolutely Over

Fashion trends aren't always kind to women.

We get that it's supposed to be fashion, but far too many fashion designs and trends are impractical, uncomfortable, and downright ugly.

Crop tops, anyone? Adult rompers??

The list went on when Reddit user u/Rachel_BA1 asked women to share the pieces of clothing they absolutely hate.

Come see which items didn't make the cut.

Let's be real: discovering a piece of clothing has pockets is like finding money on the ground. It's the best day ever!

On that same note, we despise clothes with fake pockets. It reminds us a little too much of how we open up to people.

Cheesy sayings.

"I love some classically 'feminine' florals and prints like paisley or stars or nature inspired, but than it says something like 'live laugh love' or 'don’t talk to me before I’ve had coffee' or 'happy fall y’all' and it ruins everything." - u/ScrawlingItForever

Crop tops.

"Some of us are not built to or not comfortable wearing half of a shirt. I hate it when you spy a possible cute top and pull it off the rack and it’s a [expletive] crop top. Like finding a good parking spot, go to pull in, only to see a super compact car already parked there." - u/Dull-Rip5494

Adult rompers.

There's nothing appealing about wearing an item that's originally meant for little kids.

It also means peeing naked, which is comfortable for absolutely no one. Especially not for the person who accidentally caught a glimpse in the huge crack of the bathroom stall.

"I would actually love wearing them, but the standard sizes are too tight for my muscular calves, wider fits are inevitably of the 'you're big, so you should be happy wearing ugly' variety, and I can't afford to have a pair made to fit." - u/MindingMine

The general women’s fit for t-shirts.

"I hate them! Too fitting, weird sleeves and necklines... I never felt comfortable in one. Once I discovered more boxy and gender neutral fits I felt so much more confident and happy. Just a different fit for the same type of garment can make all the difference!" - u/StillNotDarkOutside

While they were cool in high school and didn't leave panty lines, that ship has sailed.

There's NOTHING fun about the feeling of your underwear slipping into your cheeks. Even worse: it's unable to be fixed.

Jeans.

"They are so uncomfortable and heat up so fast in the sun. No air gets through them so I feel like my legs are trapped in a plaster mold the whole day. Agree that jean shorts are nice though." -u/catlady10000

How can we love something that gives us such a freeing feeling the moment we take it off? We just wish there was another way to support our "girls" without sentencing them to boob jail.

UGG boots.

"Maybe it's the fake UGG boots, but I think they're dreadful as they never hold their shape, never seem to fit anyone well and look so dingy and dirty. I just never got the love for them." - u/summer-lovers

Strapless dresses/tops.

"I'm flat chested, so those never stay up. If I go too long without tugging them up all the damn time, my nipples come out to say hello. It pains me whenever I see an otherwise cute dress/ top that I can't wear because they're strapless." - u/QueenMangosteen

It's not fair that men have their pick of "masculine" colors like black and grey.

Meanwhile, women are left sorting through bright colors, like pink and orange. Newsflash designers: not every woman always wants to wear pink.

High-waisted pants.

"If you’re short like me they end up under your boobs. They also give you a saggy butt. Even if you have the most perfectly toned butt in the world put it in a pair of high waisted pants and the butt suddenly becomes saggy!" - u/iamclear

High heels.

You have to wonder why these exist. They can be super uncomfortable and are hard to walk in (have you seen runway shows with models toppling over?). Simply put, they're impractical for something you're supposed to wear all day.

Lingerie.

"Especially if it's lacy. It hardly ever looks good underneath proper clothes, it's itchy and irritating and in my size, it's either unflattering or unaffordable. Also, most skirts above the knee and most trousers." - u/ToiletPaperGanon

Leggings.

Unsplash | Victor Hughes

"Sure they’re cute- but why is it so hard to find a pair you can’t see through or that slide down all the time? I want thick, no see through, compression, high rise leggings with pockets and an internal drawstring." - u/cambiokeys

Capri pants

"They're too long to be shorts, they are too short to be practical as pants. There's maybe two months out of the year you can really wear them and not be uncomfortable because you're too hot or cold." - u/RachelWWV

Random cutouts.

Designers thought they were really onto something with this. But most make it next to impossible to wear a bra. Back cutouts are another issue. We're trying to hide our backfat, not show it to the world!

Wrap dresses.

"Thanks, I'll take 'not living in fear of my dress falling open in front of everybody' for $200, please. I don't normally like 'faux' anything, but faux wraps are the same fit, but minus the paranoia. Yes please." - u/bethany_the_sabreuse
