This year’s Super Bowl didn’t disappoint.
Millions tuned in to catch the exhilarating game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (the latter won), in addition to all of the celeb-heavy commercials.
But nothing could compare to the Halftime Show that was headlined by The Weeknd (Abel Makkonen Tesfaye).
Given his Las Vegas backdrop, infamous red jacket, and bandaged performers, so many hilarious tweets and memes were soon born.
“When my mom tries to Facetime me.”
When The Weeknd took viewers behind the stage, we were given a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the stadium.
We were also blessed with so many memes, such as this one. You can’t deny that you haven’t received a call like this one before.
“Me trying to find the bathroom at the club after 6 or 7.”
Now, this one might be hard to remember, given the fact that clubs are closed worldwide. But we already know that this is how we’ll all look once they reopen.
“When I lose my mom in the grocery store and start panicking.”
We can’t lose her! How else will we swindle her into buying us some sugary Froot Loops? Guess we’ll have to look like this as we check every aisle…
“Me inside the bar after waiting an hour in line to get in…..”
All of these club-related reactions have made one thing clear: people are missing the club.
This tweet goes to show that as soon as they’re open, we’re running not walking. And shoving, not being a gentleman.

We’ve all been there.

You can thank The Weeknd for how stellar his set was. The Weeknd told Billboard that he spent seven million of his own money to make his performance extra special.
