Who here is a queen or king of DIY ? Oh my goodness, I’m so jealous of you. I don’t have the time nor the patience for it.
Truth be told, I wish I had better skills too. So, when I saw this one mom create a fabulous cardboard play kitchen for her kids, I was so impressed. Let’s take a look.
Myriam Sandler, like many other moms, ended up with a ton of boxes after the quarantine.
So instead of just throwing them away, she decided to use them. And boy did she use them creatively. You’ve got to see this.
What she did with the influx of the packaging is quite amazing.
She actually turned it all into the coolest-looking kitchen for her kids. Oh my goodness! Check this out. It all started with just a pile, and she totally transformed it.

Isn’t it mind-blowing or what? I wish I had DIY skills like her, ha, ha! We have so many spare cardboard boxes I could make an entire house. Wow, I’m definitely impressed by all of it.
I mean, look at all that detail.
This project must’ve been time-consuming, that’s for sure. I think it’s super cute. And it definitely beats getting any of those plastic play kitchens. This way, you actually get to use what you already have.
I love this idea.
It’s not only good for the environment because you’re totally upcycling here, but you’re teaching your kids how to make things themselves.
And you’re using just ordinary items to do it too. If you’re not impressed by this, I don’t know what’s wrong with you.
Well, it’s no surprise to me that this video got a lot of attention.
Plenty of folks on TikTok were digging this idea too. Many of them said that this is even nicer than their own kitchens, ha, ha! I can see that.

I guess this wouldn’t work in every household, especially if you’re kids are into destroying things, lol. But if you have kids that play nice, this would be a perfect toy kitchen for them.
Some folks wondered by she didn’t paint it over.
But I have to agree with this lady here. The kids can use crayons to decorate it themselves. After all, it is their play kitchen now, no? Let’s make it more interactive for them.
