Ever since her Gossip Girl days, Blake Lively has been almost synonymous with long flowing blonde locks, usually in a beach-ready wave.
And she has rocked that style.
But we shouldn’t forget that Blake Lively is capable of rocking all OTHER styles too, and her latest Instagram posts have proven it.
Blake shared a couple photos of herself in this gorgeous retro hairstyle, and she ditched the blonde for an auburny-reddy-brown tone that she still manages to pull off effortlessly.
She captioned these photos “#AllTheFilters” but obviously she doesn’t need a filter to look gorgeous.
She’s got this new look in preparation for her upcoming film The Rhythm Section that will be out on January 31st, so it’s likely not a permanent move for Blake, although it could be.
She also shared these shots of what is definitely a wig.
Maybe she looks a bit rough in the photograph, but somehow Blake even manages to pull off a bowl cut .

Singer Billie Eilish is well known for her multi-colored and bright hairstyles, but she briefly dipped into the world of normalcy.
When her music video for ‘Xanny’ dropped, people couldn’t get over her natural hair.
The beautiful chestnut brown really suits her, although it did turn out to be a wig. I doubt we’ll be seeing a brunette Billie Eilish in real life any time soon!
There was also Pink earlier this year, who’s famous for rocking short hair.
However, she went even shorter than expected and announced the news that she’d shaved her head on her Instagram!
“Letting go,” she captioned this shot.
If anyone can pull off a shaved head, it’s definitely Pink. She can rock any kind of look and still look like a total rockstar!
Evangeline Lily also debuted a shaved head.
First she teased everyone by sharing this video with the caption “stop or keep going???”
