The Twitter war between John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and President Donald Trump has had a very serious finale.
After many harsh exchanges, Legend just called upon Trump's wife, Melania, to do something.

John Legend Begs Melania To Praise Donald Trump: 'He Needs You'
While many of us were enjoying a peaceful Sunday night, a Twitter fight between Donald Trump, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen erupted.
The drama all began after John had spoken to MSNBC about the country's broken criminal justice system.
President Donald Trump clearly didn't like the things the singer had to say as he soon ignited a Twitter war.

In a series of tweets, he began by saying that Republicans "deserve much credit" for signing the First Step Act, which could shorten thousands of prison sentences.
He then basically declared war on Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen.

Missing from this tweet was the previous one where he began calling John a "boring musician."
Even though Trump had blocked Teigen in 2017 for telling him "no one likes you", he included her in his post.

In a real casual way by calling her John's "filthy-mouthed wife." Yikes!
It's not confirmed yet whether or not Teigen is unblocked from Trump's Twitter, since "Vanity Fair" had reported in July that the President can't just block button everyone.

Turns out, there was a court ruling that stated that the President banning someone from Twitter just for disagreeing with him is actually a violation of the First Amendment.
Whether she's unblocked or not, Chrissy replied to Trump's insult.

Since her tweet, the hashtag "#PresidentP----A--B----" has even been trending.
In addition to that, she pointed out that she wasn't involved in the program whatsoever.

That was all her husband's doing!
Speaking of John, he ended up calling upon Trump's wife, Melania, to intervene.

"Imagine being president of a whole country and spending your Sunday night hate-watching MSNBC hoping somebody," he tweeted.
Then he practically begged Melania to praise her husband.

"He needs you," he wrote.
In a response to Legend's tweet, someone posted a GIF that looks as though Melania is leaning in to kiss Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
"Ah yes, Melania is otherwise occupied. My apologies, @realDonaldTrump," Legend tweeted when he saw the GIF.
In addition to Trump needing Melania, John stated that the country needs her.
This war is getting serious.

During all of this drama, Teigen had posted an image of her making a sign for her three-year-old daughter, Luna's, second year of preschool.
"Luna, remember the night before your first day of school? When mommy was making your sign and the [expletive] president had his 9th meltdown of the day," she captioned the picture.

The model showed how unbothered she was by posting a video of her watching 90 Day Fiancé and eating pasta.
Legend's last tweet on the whole matter was about educating the world on reforming the criminal justice system.
While no messages have been exchanged since, it's fair to say that this war between President Trump and the celeb couple is far from over.
In the meantime, we'll just be sitting over here with our popcorn.
