Just last night, he was in Jacksonville doing a show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, posting a photo to his Twitter account early Sunday morning.
His fatherly advice surely got a lot of us through some incredibly challenging times.
His ability to reach several generations and audiences is part of the reason why his loss feels like the loss of a close friend.

"She’s a remarkable person, and she’s really talented. She’s got her own website and streaming series called Eat Travel Rock."
