Mom Makes A Week's Worth Of School Lunches In An Afternoon Using A Smart Routine

School is almost back in session, and that's definitely a wake-up call for parents. Now, you need to come up with ways to organize yourself again. Ugh! Am I right?

So what if there was an easier way to do that, huh? Well, this one clever mom came up with just the thing. I'm going to show you exactly what she does. Let's go!

Lauren of @lauren.clutter on TikTok is one organized mama.

Recently she shared some of her awesome back-to-school hacks that I think other busy moms will really appreciate. This one has to do with prepping school lunches for her kiddos ahead of time.

I bet you're all ears now, huh?

Well, let me tell you about it. Here's something cool that Lauren does. She preps a week's worth of lunches in one afternoon. So she starts off by getting these mini sandwich buns.

Then she cuts them all in half with one big knife.

After that, she puts whatever toppings on them that the kids like, for example, things like sliced cheese and ham. She covers them up and cuts them further into individual servings.

Then she puts these ready-made sandwiches in the kids' individual Ziploc bags.

She also includes some other snacks in there. You see, this saves her so much time. And now you can totally do that, too! How about that?

Lauren also does this with other items such as apple sauce.

She portions it into smaller containers that she can easily grab. When the kids are ready to go to school, she gives them the bags and an apple and voilĂ ! And she keeps all the stuff together in the fridge.

Isn't that a fantastic idea or what?

I mean, if that's not awesome food prep, I don't know what is, ha, ha. This mom has it going on. As it turns out, this #MomHack really did resonate with fellow moms.

Lots of moms started commenting and praising Lauren for giving them this great idea.

Any way you can cut back on a busy mom's workload is okay in my book. Do you hear what I'm saying? Ha, ha!

Now, if you're wondering whether the bread will get soggy,

Lauren does have an answer for that. And she swears that it does not. She also says you can either freeze the bags or just keep them refrigerated depending on when you're using them.

Wow, I'm so impressed by this awesome food prep mom hack.

And I'm wondering if other moms do this already. If not, how do you get ready for the whole week? Inquiring minds want to know. So share it with all of us below.
