No matter how much we may think that we have encountered every kind of situation , life always finds ways to surprise us.
And, more often than we may like, these situations will be perfectly designed to annoy us in the most bizarrely specific way possible. So, with this in mind, please enjoy (if that’s the right word) 20 strange problems people had to deal with!

Good God, this must be what happens when you let a psychopath play SimCity . What a nightmare.

At first I thought that it was upside down but now I’m not sure, I think that I’ve been staring at this for far too long.
“Kids are having fun with friends so a neighbor reported to HOA that we must be running a daycare.”
What goes wrong in your life for you to be that kind of neighbor? I can’t wait for these poor people to also get a warning about having an unauthorised sign on their fence as well.
“The construction workers painted over a dead lizard on our awning.”
Either this painter didn’t notice the dead lizard, or they did and painted over it anyway. Whichever it was, they need to give their head a shake!
“The way they packaged this peanut butter.”
Why would anyone ever think that this is the best possible way of packaging and selling peanut butter? I’m agog.
“My bank sent me 28 letters in the mail to inform me I have opted out of receiving paper statements.”
Maybe they are subtly asking you to reconsider opting out of going paperless?
“My daughter’s school has never heard of link shorteners.”
This is not an isolated problem it would appear, as another person added, “My workplace does this but with hyperlinks, so they’ll print something out on paper for you to action and there will be an instruction to ‘click here’.”
Me: *Screaming Internally.*
“So you’re telling me that you can’t lift objects with your mind?”
“Err…no.”
“Yeah, that’s a real shame, I think we’re gonna go in a different direction with this hire.”
“My husband eats apple with a spoon. Reddit, please give it to him straight.”
I have never seen, or even heard, of anyone ever doing this. I don’t think that doing this would ever even have crossed my mind for the rest of my days if I hadn’t seen this.
“Getting real tired of irresponsible dog owners…”
I hate it when people forget to pick up their dog’s suits from the dry cleaners, it’s always such a waste.
“When your flatmate likes to eat seeds and cleans the floor without vacuuming first.”
And this is why you shouldn’t choose to live with an avian flatmate, they’re also terrible with money.
“The door on this house drives me insane…”
I mean, just why? You would at least put some furniture or something there to distract from that empty space!
“This incredibly picky rating system.”
One very cheerful person helpfully pointed out, “Yep. Anything less than actual perfection in retail is basically you failing at your job. The kicker is, if you manage to do perfect and blow people away, that becomes the new standard and you have to outperform perfection.” And isn’t that just marvellous!
“FB marketplace in a nutshell.”
Look, maybe they just wanted to know if it was available? That’s a perfectly sound request…for an insane person.
“Aftermath of tree trunk hitting windshield.”
I am sure that for plenty of people who were fans of the Final Destination films this will rekindle some wonderful old phobias.
“At Nottingham Forest stadium…”
They must have employed a rival fan to be the one to install the chairs, with this being their ultimate revenge.
“Cleaned out the attic and discovered rats had eaten my 81 Dodgers baseball. Fernando, LaSorda, Stewart, Sax, Koufax… Damn.”
Those rats were clearly not very big baseball fans by the looks of things. One person did ask why the ball was up there in the first place to which this person replied, “I had a box of keepsakes (grandparents gave me the ball), somehow that box got moved to the attic. I wouldn’t have put it up there had I known.”
“These are all off.”
I know that this is the sort of thing that I would pretend I am fine with, but would cause me to lose sleep every night.
One To Annoy All The Nerds…
And don’t worry, I very much count myself amongst the “nerds,” but I kind of love this actually just because of how much it must annoy some people.
