Some pictures just refuse to give away their secrets upon a first glance, instead making you scour them time and time again until they eventually relinquish the visual treasure that they are hiding from you!
Anyway, with this needlessly overcomplicated imagery aside, please enjoy scouring these 20 pics that made us lean in so close that our nose was touching the screen.
“Find the cat.”
Okay, I will admit that this is one where I had to call in reinforcements. However, for anyone else who is struggling, keep an eye on the top of the stack of wood at the back and in the middle of the picture.
“Dust from a ramp on my suede roller-skates looks like an X-Ray of my feet.”
It is quite unsettling how much this actually looks like a real x-ray of someone’s foot! Just be grateful that it was not an x-ray of a broken foot I guess, as it what would have happened if I were on roller-skates!
“You probably thought that no one would notice…”
I would be right down there with a black Sharpie filling in that missing black tile before they knew it. It would take a minute at most to make this floor not a visual nightmare!
“Mosaic embedded on a street in Detroit.”
This was actually a mosaic of a piece of steak, which looks like it is 3-D when you look at it from another angle. I thought that it was some kind of demon from this angle.
“Sometimes you just know you’re being watched.”
“Psst, hey. Hey you, over there.”
“For the last time, I don’t have any dog biscuits to sell.”
“Argh, come on man, don’t leave me hanging like this. I just need one more hit, that’s all!”
“One half of my dog’s whiskers are white and the other half are black.”
“I had a cat that has black whiskers, except for one whit hair on her right side. It always grew back white too and was one of the biggest hairs,” added another enthusiastic pet owner.
“What a weird piglet. Wait.”
This is a very important lesson in making sure that you always assemble your new puppy correctly when you first get it. If you do not follow the assembly instructions very closely then you can end up with a head on backwards.
“Peek-a-boo?”
I did not even know what I was looking for when I started scouring this image. However, I will give you all a bit of a heads-up, there is a pug hiding in here somewhere, he’s very sneaky though.
“I noticed this little guy today when walking about.”
Apparently this little guy can actually be found all over the place in areas of Berlin. I might have to book a holiday to Berlin to check this out…what a bloody nightmare!
“If you don’t look up, you may miss something.”
I actually think that this is a pretty cool little statue. I mean, I have no idea why it is there but I quite like the look of the thing…which is kind of the point of art I guess?
“I found this hidden message on the inside of a custom PS5 faceplate.”
Why did anyone decide to leave this message behind? Was it just to try and perplex people? If so then they have done a pretty damn good job.
“My beer can had another can in it.”
And if you manage to open that second can, then there will be another can in that one! And then if you can open that can within a can within a can, then you will find a small peach cobbler.
“The perfect camouflage!”
Cats love to creep around the place and spy on their owners, it is all just a part of being a cat. Also, if you have a black cat, then do not willingly introduce any surfaces which will provide it with more places to hide!
“Lost my wallet 3 days ago, finally ordered new cards and then…”
It is always the case that you never find the things you have lost until you decide to replace them. All of that time spent cancelling those cards, wasted!
“I spotted these little things in Paris.”
One person did ask, “Is this how colonoscopies work?” Whoever you are, I hate how your brain works and thank you for ruining this picture for me forever. I will never forget this.
“That is how camouflage works.”
Okay, I think that this cat might actually be better at blending in than the other cat on the bathmat. This cat is right in front of me and I am struggling to see it.

That kid really needs to stop climbing up shelves! Maybe they just want to feel as though they can look down on their parents and turn the tables for once. Pretty smart move if you think about it.

He looks as though he is waiting for the perfect moment to come bounding over for a head scratch. I think that the “beware the dog” is less about him biting anyone and more about warning people in case they have a heart attack when they spot him.
