We humans tend to get used to our daily routines, finding comfort in them as they’re familiar to us, we can navigate them safely . However, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t shake things up every so often.
Even those of us who love our routines the most can do with a little something new every now and then, like the things in this list of 20 interesting finds that showed us something new!
“My little brother put a stamp and address on a mini chocolate bar, and it actually arrived.”

The postal service will always make sure that anything with a stamp makes it to its destination!
Well, maybe I shouldn’t say anything , there are many things that should not be going through the mail system. Most things, then, even the silly stuff!
“This grocery store selling fancy cocktail ice cubes and spheres.”

This is a nice idea! Nothing feels fancier than a sphere of ice in a nice glass, but not everyone has the means or the time to carve out their own ice spheres. It’s hard to get them just right!
“An eco-friendly fork I got with my salad.”

I feel cheated by calling this a fork, but unfortunately, it does have all the qualities needed of a fork, it’s just entirely inconvenient and a total pain to actually use. I’d say use your hands, but maybe wash them first, it looks like you’ve been hard at work so far today.
“In Germany organic fruits/vegetables are often literally branded to tell it apart from the conventional fruits/vegetables at the register.”

The concept of a stamp is way better than the usual stickers you’d find on fruits. No litter involved and there’s no fear of accidentally eating it because you forgot to peel it off the apple you just took a massive bite out of.
“[Received] a gift voucher for Christmas that is valid for 1000 years.”

This store cares about its customers, and wants to make sure they have plenty of time to use all the great deals they hand out!
Frame that and you could preserve it as a family heirloom, pass it down until the chosen child gets to redeem it the day before it expires.
“This bakery has a vending machine for their off hours.”

There’s no worse feeling than showing up to a store just to find out it closed right before you got there. Thankfully, this bakery thought of this and made sure it was able to serve its loyal customers any time of day!
“My friend is staying at an [Airbnb] that has a vase full of swords.”

It’s always nice when Airbnbs have activities that you and your friends can participate in during your visit, it really makes the place feel welcoming and thought out! Just don’t bleed on the furniture.
“Rose I picked has its petals shaped like a heart.”

I’m not a huge resin art guy, but this is definitely something worth preserving in a block somehow. It’s just too perfect not to, and would look gorgeous as decoration anywhere!
“Heated dog parking while shopping.”

Some dogs would certainly like this more than others, but it’s still a great idea regardless. It keeps them safe and warm while you’re grabbing your essentials. Hopefully it’s soundproofed, though, to keep all that barking down.
“The birthday card I bought for my mum has flower seeds inside!”

What a beautiful gift to give alongside the actual gift you’d get someone for their birthday! Really, it’s a simple act that’ll bring more color to their lives and help out local fauna, it’s a win for everyone!
“You can tell the era my thrifted computer bag was made by the matching iPod case that came with it.”

I was a kid during the era of the iPod’s reign, so maybe I was just outside of the intended audience for these, but was this style of case really that popular? Can we bring it back? I kind of love it.
“A white UPS truck.”

This is the truck they use when they’re delivering packages to ongoing formal events. The driver even comes in a suit, just to make sure they don’t ruin the vibe too much.
“This pool I saw today that has been turned into a giant planter.”

This is a great way to handle a pool that’s no longer in use without having to redo this whole portion of the grounds it’s on. Besides, it’s thriving like this, look at the size of those plants!
“This pack of socks comes with a whoopee cushion.”

An unlikely pair, but not an unwelcome one, I suppose? I imagine the pitch meeting for this was a little odd, or maybe these socks and those whooppee cushions are made in the same factory and they joined forces.
“This tiny marker I own.”

This could write, what, maybe 15 words before it starts running low on ink? I can’t tell which is more impressive, the fact that you haven’t lost this yet, or the fact that it has its own tiny pen clip.
“Interesting signage while shopping.”

Not a fan of the subliminal messages being pushed on it un stores these days. What, from packaging psychology, to the store directory telling me to have kids, I feel so pressured!
“A moose hanging out on my patio.”

If you’re cold, they’re cold. Bring them inside and let them warm up for a bit. This fellow especially looks so polite and well mannered, there’s no harm in giving him some company.
“Bread flavored soda. It tasted like bread.”

At least it’s true to advertising? There are a lot of gimmick drinks out there that don’t actually taste like the thing they’re trying to imitate, but not this one. This is just a bottle of straight-up bread water.
“This was in the elevator at my college.”

I appreciate it being cut to shape instead of just a taped sign or something like that. It shows a real level of dedication on the part of the prankster here, some sophistication.
“Longest exhaust pipes in the world.”

Some bright people did the research and found out that this was done by a YouTuber as a fun little joke build and would not be staying on the car. I sort of wish they would, though. What a delightful sight that would be on the road.
