So, yeah… as much as we appreciate the people trying to give us more of what we love, these sequels probably shouldn’t have seen the light of day.

But don’t just take my word for it, Wes Craven (the guy who made this stinker) has also denounced it.

The Hills Have Eyes 2: The Hills Have Even More Eyes Again, was terrible… wait, didn’t I do this already?
Oh, this is the sequel to the remake of the original. It too was bad.
‘Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf’.
JonTron does a pretty good episode on this stinker, so check it out if you can. And it’s a shame this movie stunk because Christopher Lee was in it.
And he’s usually pretty good.
‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj’.
Yeah… this was not funny at all. Where the original was a pretty decent, pretty funny flick, this one did not live up to its predecessor.
Sorry Taj, but you’ll get your redemption in Harold and Kumar .
‘The X-Files: I Want to Believe’.
You’ll want to believe that this movie didn’t exist.
Unfortunately, it does and it does not live up to the expectations we had for it based on how good the show was.
‘Evan Almighty’.
The sequel to a Jim Carrey classic (it won’t be the first time you see that on this list, winky, winky) it was poorly done.
That’s all there really is to say about it.
‘Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem’.
A lot of people didn’t like the first AVP. I, however, did.
So, when the sequel came out I was stoked… only to be let down really hard. Like a bag of bricks.
‘Grease 2’.
Forgettable. That’s the word that keeps popping up every time I look this movie up. Forgettable songs, forgettable performances, forgettable everything. I’ve even forgotten about it mid-sentence.
What was I talking about again?
‘Blues Brothers 2000’.
So the Blues Brothers comes out and it takes the world by storm. Then John Belushi dies and the whole world mourns.
Time to end the franchise, right? Nope! Just has out a half-butted sequel.
‘Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2’.
After the first movie set the world on fire, it was really all we needed.
However this sequel came out and it wasn’t found footage, it had no mystery and it wasn’t fit to carry the Blair Witch name.
‘Son of the Mask’.
Oof. Yeesh. I remember this stinker.
Watching it as a kid I didn’t even know it was a sequel to The Mask , no one returned, it had none of the charm, it was just lame.
‘Speed 2: Cruise Control’.
Quite possibly the worst movie sequel of all time.
They asked themselves, what would be more exciting than a bus speeding through busy streets? I know, a slow cruise liner speeding through open waters!
‘Dumb and Dumber To’.
This was…messy, to say the least.
Seriously, no one needed another movie. The best thing about dumb movies is that you could watch the ORIGINAL over and over again.
‘Rocky V’.
The heart was there, but everything else that we needed wasn’t.
Like a good story, for one. It had seemed like we watched the exact story in the one before.
‘Creed 2’.
This followed the same formula that literally every film before it did.
Not even the fight scenes were that good. But the acting at least was great!
‘Friday After Next’.
If you want a movie that is just full of bad stereotypes, then congrats! This is the movie for you!
If you haven’t seen it, skip it.
‘Home Alone 3’.
They were trying too hard to recreate something that worked for them in the past.
Sometimes, the past should just stay in the past.
‘Pocahontas 2’.
This is arguably one of the worst Disney movies, EVER.
It completely undid the love story in the first and was just a bad storyline in general.
‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’.
There was a LOT of hate that came for this movie after First Class .
And even more hate came for the recent Dark Phoenix .
Honourable Mention: Every ‘Spider-Man’ movie that came after the first one.
This kind of had no choice to be here.
The first one was a major hit, but until Tom Holland’s Spider-Man , it was really hard to see any good in the films.
