Oh yeah, folks, today we’re talking plot twists. M. Night Shyamalan, get ready to be praised for that one movie you did.
Oh god… what was it called again… It’s on the tip of my tongue…
Okay so…

Obviously, there are going to be spoilers in this article.
So if you don’t want some movies you haven’t seen spoiled for you, then turn this article right off right now!
1. ‘Planet Of The Apes’.
So the premise is that these humans land on a strange Planet dominated by apes… or is it a strange planet?
No it’s not, because it was a future earth all along. I think the musical says it best…
“You’ll Never Make a Monkey Out of Me”.

I hate every ape I see From chimpan-a to chimpan-zee No, you’ll never make a monkey out of me
Oh my God, I was wrong It was Earth all along
You’ve finally made a monkey…
Apes: (Yes, we’ve finally made a monkey)
Yes, you’ve finally made a monkey out of me!
2. ‘Orphan’.

This is a twist that really pickled my peppers.
The nine-year-old who loving parents Kate and John Coleman adopt turns out to be a 33-year-old murderer. Huh, no wonder she was so creepy!
3. ‘American Psycho’.
So throughout the movie, Patrick Bateman commits these awful murders, culminating in a big shoot out with the cops.
And in the end… he didn’t actually do it? It was all in his mind? Who knows.
4. ‘Toy Story 2’.

There’s a running pattern of seemingly nice characters turning bad in recent Toy Story films, however, this was the first.
Stinky Pete betrays Woody and tries to force him not to leave.
5. ‘Love, Actually’.

Okay, so there’s a bunch of love stories throughout this one, but this twist is the most messed up.
It centers around a best man not liking his best friends wife. However, the twist is that he’s actually madly in love with her.
6. ‘The Departed’.

There are two twists in The Departed .
The first I’m going to talk about is when Colin thinks he’s got away, but then he gets killed by Staff Sgt. Sean Dignam.
7. ‘The Departed’ (Part 2).

The second twist is when we find out that Jack Nicholson’s character was an FBI informant the whole time.
Which… uh… how come they let him commit all those murders?
8. ‘Murder On The Orient Express’.

This is a great mystery movie. An awesome whodunnit plot. And finally, it has a great twist. Remember that whodunnit question?
Well, it turns out that everyone had a hand in the murder.
9. ‘The Usual Suspects’.

In the end, we get the most unexpected twist of all time.
The limping, reserved Verbal was actually Keyser Söze the whole time! In the end, he escapes, too.
10. ‘Get Out’.

From the beginning, we see Rose and Chris as this beautiful, loving couple.
But in the end, it’s revealed that she and her family were actually just there to hypnotize the poor boy.
11. ‘Shutter Island’.

So US Marshall Leo DiCaprio is sent to an insane asylum on Shutter Island to investigate something.
But it turns out, in the end, he was a patient at the asylum all along!
12. ‘Chinatown’.

Okay so, hold on to your horses people, because this one is a doozy. Long story short, there are these two “sisters” in the movie: Evelyn and Katherine.
Well, in the end, it turns out that they’re not only sisters, Evelyn is also Katherine’s mother. Ewww!
13. ‘Sixth Sense’.

That’s the movie I was thinking of! Anyways we all know the twist in this one, psychologist Bruce Willis finds out at the end of the movie… that he was Stinky Pete the whole time!
Just kidding, he’s dead.
