Kim Kardashian is arguably the most recognizable celebrity on the planet . She’s a reality TV mogul, model, businesswoman, social justice advocate, as well as a soon-to-be lawyer.
Former Versace model, Jennifer Pamplona, felt so inspired by Kim Kardashian that she did everything in her power to become her — literally. Now, after spending more than $600,000 on cosmetic surgeries to do just that, she regrets it.
It’s no exaggeration to say that Kim Kardashian is one of the most famous celebrities on earth.

Kim has come a long way since her Paris Hilton assistant days. Now, her own star power far exceeds that of her former mentor and friend.
Today, Kim is one of the most-followed celebrities on Instagram.
Kim’s Instagram following alone is over 333 million, and she’s rumored to make $300,000 to $500,000 per sponsored post — more than she made on any given season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
While we’re on the topic of ‘KUWTK’, Kim is still the reigning queen of reality TV.

Just when you thought Kim was out, her fans and followers pull her back in! Keeping Up With the Kardashians may no longer be here, but her newly minted Hulu series , The Kardashians , is here to stay.
Men love her and women want to be her — a fact that former Versace model, Jennifer Pamplona, knows all too well.

Jennifer took the phrase “Keeping up with the Kardashians” to a whole new level after she spent over $600,000 on cosmetic surgeries to look like Kim.
As if that wasn’t outlandish enough, Pamplona eventually had a change of heart and spent an additional $120,000 to reverse the procedures.

It took Jennifer 12 years and 40 cosmetic surgeries in order for her to realize that her self-worth wasn’t tied up in looks.
“People would call me a Kardashian and it started to get annoying,” she explained to ‘Caters’.

“I had done all these things and had all these achievements in my personal life, but I was only being recognized because I looked like a Kardashian .”
Pamplona first began her Kardashian transition when she was just 17 years old.

Not long after her first surgery, Jennifer became addicted to the procedures and started up a slippery slope of vanity and a misguided sense of happiness.
She had eight operations on her posterior alone, all in an effort to emulate Kim’s signature booty.

Add to that, three different rhinoplasties, butt implants, as well as fat injections. Her story quickly caught the attention of various news outlets and there was even a profile of her in The New York Post .
“It was an addiction and I got into a cycle of surgery equals fame and money, I just lost control of everything,” she explained.

After more than a decade of feeling unfulfilled, Pamplona came to the conclusion that she was battling body dysmorphia.
Wanting to return to her old self, she found a doctor located in Istanbul, Turkey, who claimed to be able to reverse the procedures.

“I saw on the computer beforehand how I would look and it was like I was having a rebirth ,” she stated.
However, Pamplona’s rebirth came with a heavy price tag attached to it.

The total cost was well into six figures. In order to expedite the process, Pamplona had a face/neck/lip lift, a nose job, fat removal, and cat eye surgery done simultaneously.
Things went from bad to worse after Pamplona suffered complications due to the immense amount of surgeries.

” I thought I was dying ,” she explained remorsefully. “I was thinking to myself, ‘What the hell have I done with my life?'”
It took weeks for the swelling to go down and for Jennifer’s body to properly heal.
But those wounds are only skin deep. The mental anguish that Jennifer suffered persists to this day and it’s something she will have to live with for the rest of her life.
In an effort to shine a light on her struggles with plastic surgery, Jennifer decided to create her own documentary.

Addiction: A Documentary Series seeks to demystify the mysteries of Hollywood life, as well as the secrets behind social media influence.
“Creating this documentary helped me feel all the emotions of my childhood,” she wrote via Instagram. “It made me understand every part of who I am.”

By telling her own story, Jennifer hopes that it will resonate with her audience, and potentially help someone avoid making the same mistakes as she did.
