TikTok is a great place to find all sorts of tricks, tips, and hacks. But there is one “hack” out there that is dividing people.
This one girl posted her supposed trick to find out if your boyfriend is cheating on you, and folks on TikTok have a lot to say about it. So let’s find out what it’s all about. Shall we?
Andrea Lopes, who goes by TikTok handle @andrea.lopez44, recently posted a few different videos of a hack.
She supposedly invented it to find out if your boyfriend is cheating on you.
Apparently, Andrea swears by it. But let’s just say her methods are questionable.
According to her, all you need is a lint roller.
Hmm, that sounds weird to me. What about you? I never thought the old lint roller could play such an important role in my life, ha, ha! Do you feel me?
Are you with me so far? Okay, let’s continue.
She claims that you can grab your guy’s clothes while he’s taking a shower. Then — get this — run the lint roller on them to see if you pick up any suspicious hair.
Ha, ha! What?
So she did that, and apparently, she actually found some different colored hair on his shirt. And the kicker is — her hair is black. Uh-oh! I guess he’s in trouble now. How do you like that?
She went to confront him while she was pointing the lint roller at him.
So what was his answer to that? Well, he kind of brushed it off and shut the bathroom door in her face. Take that!
Is this real proof that he was, in fact, cheating on her?
Or was that whole thing just staged for TikTok? Well, if you read people’s comments on the video, they seem to think it’s the latter. So let’s see if there’s any truth to that after all.
Well, as it turns out, this girl is always doing pranks with her boyfriend.
So can you really believe this latest “hack?” I think not. At least, not when it comes to this couple.
Another idea of hers is to vacuum your man’s bedroom.
Then you can open up the canister and look to see if there’s any suspicious hair in there. Now, this might not work if you have a cat. All you would find is some cat hair, ha, ha!
On the other hand, would you really want to put your hands into a dirty vacuum canister to dig for hair?
I think not. Perhaps there are better methods than this? I don’t know. It seems like a weird idea to me.

Here are some interesting comments on this video. They’re pretty hilarious, I have to admit. “What if the girl was bald?” Ha, ha! That’s a good one, huh? It has me laughing out loud.
Here’s another good one: What if the girl’s hair was the same color as yours?
How do you then figure out which hair is yours and which is hers? Huh, genius? It definitely wouldn’t work in that instance after all. Am I right?
Then there’s this twist on the idea.
What if your friend came over the other day, and then you find her hair in the vacuum canister? Are you’re going to now accuse your friend of cheating with your boyfriend? That spells disaster to me.
But the real question remains: Can you use this as a real hack to catch cheaters?
I suppose you could. I mean, if you find suspicious hair on your man’s shirt or even his bedroom carpet, he may need to answer for that, no?
That being said, if you do find some unusual hairs, it would probably be a good idea to round up some other evidence before accusing anyone of cheating.
