You ever see something and think, “wow, what a coincidence ?” It may not happen all the time, but when it does, it really gets those gears in your mind turning.
Here are some pretty interesting coincidences that people posted online. It’s amazing how, from time to time, the universe can line up just right and create something you won’t ever forget.
“This Charity shop [has] an unusual number of copies of *Room*.”

What are the odds that a second-hand store would have this many copies of the same movie? I feel like it wouldn’t be very likely, but who knows. Stranger things have happened on this planet, after all, so it could be anyone’s guess.
“My milkshake is so cold that frost is forming on the outside of the straw.”

Now, you know this milkshake is seriously cold. I think it might be a good idea to let it melt a little before drinking it at this temperature, because you’d probably end up with a crazy headache.
“This bamboo is growing a molar.”

What are the odds that a stalk of bamboo would have a tooth-shaped hole in it? Like. not only does it have some kind of indent, but that indent also just so happens to look like a molar. Pretty impressive, in any case.
“All of these Amazon Prime trucks were gassing up at my local station this morning – I counted 15.”

I’m going to go ahead and guess that there’s an Amazon warehouse close to this gas station. But still, the fact that they’re all getting gas at the same time is pretty wild. Like, at least 15 different trucks were there. Crazy.
“This campervan company has somehow managed to get away with using the Internet Explorer logo for this caravan model.”

Pretty strange that this company has the exact same logo as Internet Explorer. And sure, that browser basically doesn’t exist anymore, but that doesn’t mean their logo is fair game. Or, does it?
“This window that makes my back yard look like it’s in 4 different seasons.”

Okay, that’s actually super cool. It’s clearly autumn in this picture, but the way the light hits each section, plus the way only some trees have changed color, really makes it look like each part of the window is showing a different time of year. Cool!
“The horses that look like cows.”

Horses can have so many different designs and patterns on their fur. And yet, out of all the things these horses could be, they ended up looking like cows. This probably confuses so many people while they’re on road trips.
And yet, you can’t help but love ’em.
“This geode looks like a [*sic*] ocean waves on the beach.”

Wow, what a beautiful rock! I can’t tell if it’s completely natural, or if someone went in and made it look more like a beach scene, but either way, it’s incredible. It’s totally the kind of thing you’d never expect to see on a geode.
“This potato with a bite mark in it is actually a stone my niece found on a lake bed.”

Nature is full of coincidences. Things always end up looking like other things. And you can’t even be mad, because it’s always so cool. Like this rock/potato hybrid. Sure, it’s just a rock, but it looks like a potato. Strange bite mark and everything.
“This stray dog we found that is identical to my Nana’s couch cushion.”

It isn’t every day you find a stray dog. And it feels like it’s even more unlikely to find one that just so happens to be the same species as one you have on a pillow. This feels like fate. A family united, or something.
“My robot vacuum got stuck in a loop because of a broken wheel, and drew a self portrait.”

It’s so funny how this little vacuum robot ended up creating its own shape because it got stuck. Maybe it’s trying to tell us something. Maybe this is the beginning of the end, and the robots are looking to rise up…
Or, it’s just a funny coincidence.
“This little flower petal with stamens attached that landed on my arm looks a bit like a floating Squid or Octopus.”

Huh, well I’ll be. That little petal really does look like some kind of tiny octopus (or squid). The amount of times things in nature end up looking like other things in other parts of nature is a little unreal.
“I took a picture of a model building at a museum. About a month later I walked past the real building and took a quick picture – then realized I took them at almost the same angle.”

Wow, what are the odds!? Finding the same building is one thing. But taking a picture of both at the same angle without realizing? Talk about a true coincidence.
“I ended up at bar bingo and got two cards with almost identical “I” columns.”

Amazing how to bingo cards that are so different end up having a near identical sequence of numbers. I wonder if that increases or decreases your chances of winning. Because that would either be super cool, or kind of sad.
“Our rats arranged themselves by color.”

I’m not 100% sure if rats can see color the way we can, but they must know that they look different. Do you think they know that they have different colored fur, or is this all one crazy coincidence that can’t really be explained?
“The way these trash bins are aligned makes their shadows look like a group of goons.”

I mean, to me, they kind of look like a bunch of surveillance cats. It’s like they’re keeping an eye out for trouble. But it’s just a series of very specific shadows. It’s amazing how light and shadow can work like that.
“Reflection of a rainy day in my teacup.”

I think it’s pretty important to stop and look at all the details in life. Every now and again, you end up seeing something really cool, all because you were in the right place at the right time. Which is always so much fun.
“Found this moped with a painting of the same moped behind it on the wall, thought it was pretty interesting.”

Which came first, the moped, or the painting of the moped? Because it would be amazing if the moped just happened to be parked there by chance. Still, it’s a pretty funny scene when you really think about it.
“I hit the handle of another throwing knife with a throwing knife.”

I’m going to be honest here, I have no idea where you would even get throwing knives. In any case, though, this is pretty awesome. You probably have to have years of training to make this kind of throw (like, on purpose).
“These vehicles parked by buildings that match their colors.”

A part of me feels like this was done on purpose. Like, what are the odds that these two vehicles, which were in these specific colors, went to these buildings, which also happened to be in these two specific colors, and parked? Low, I’m sure.
