Monday night’s episode of “The Bachelorette” was interrupted by several severe weather warnings in Dayton, Ohio. After viewers voiced their outrage at the repeated interruptions, a local meteorologist became fed up with them and decided to clap back live on camera, People reported.
So far, more than 50 tornadoes have touched down in eight states across America.
Just last night, a tornado ripped through the city of Linwood in Kansas with dozens of homes reportedly lost in the destruction.
Now, more than 39 million people are under an enhanced risk of severe weather.
The warnings spread from northeastern Texas through Ohio Valley and into the Northeast. The main threats are expected to start Wednesday afternoon.

On Monday night, a tornado alert was issued for the city of Dayton, Ohio.
In order to warn residents of the impending deadly storm, the news station FOX45 interrupted the regularly-scheduled broadcast of “The Bachelorette” to issue the tornado warning.
Fans of the show were so upset that they began tweeting at FOX45, demanding that the station stop sending out the alerts and return to the ABC series.
Weatherman Jamie Simpson became enraged over the viewers’ complaints.
During his live weather broadcast, he took a moment so speak directly to the fans who were complaining about the alerts on social media.
“We have viewers complaining already,” he began.
His frustration with those fans is quite obvious as his tirade continues.
“‘Just go back to the show,'” he said. “No, we’re not going back to the show, folks. This is a dangerous situation, OK?”
He implored the outraged viewers to think beyond themselves and consider the people these alerts are meant for.
“Think about if this was your neighborhood,” he said. “I’m sick and tired of people complaining about this. Our job here is to keep people safe, and that is what we’re going to do.”
Apparently some viewers complained that the interruptions were due to Simpson’s ego, which he was quick to shoot down.
“Stop,” he said. “It’s not. I’m done with you people, I really am, this is pathetic.”

“Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown tweeted a response to the viewers’ complains about the warnings.
The 24-year-old told her faithful fans to “be safe” and said that tornadoes (or “naders”) are “no joke.”
Following the warning, at least one person was killed and 130 injured by a rapid-fire line of tornadoes that ripped through the region.
According to The Guardian , the tornadoes that tore through Indiana and Ohio were so close together that one crossed the path the other had carved.
Some of the heaviest damage was reported outside of Dayton, Ohio.
