Joker which is coming out October 4th, is receiving a lot of backlash because of what the character promotes.
In fact, it will not even be premiering at the Aurora, Colorado theater, where 12 people were killed during The Dark Knight Rises screening.

Many people are afraid that incels will idolize the Joker.
Incels are people who are violent extremists who idolize terrorist acts because of the “disadvantages” they have in trying to have romantic relationships.
In a memo obtained by Gizmodo, it detailed the warnings about the film.
It warned people to “identify two escape routes”, and if something goes wrong to “run, hide, fight.”
It also said:
“If you’re stuck, hide (also known as ‘sheltering in place’), and stay quiet. If a shooter finds you, fight with whatever you can.”
So, all in all, be safe out there.
There’s a lot of people who think the warning is unneeded.
