I grew up watching Blue’s Clues like any self respecting 90’s/00’s kid, and when I heard they were planning a reboot called Blue’s Clues & You I was a little hesitant. I wasn’t a fan of when they replaced Steve the first time, but eventually I came to love Joe, too. We all had to give the new host, Josh, a chance!
This is Josh. His full name is Joshua Dela Cruz, and he’s the new host of ‘Blue’s Clues & You.’
Josh was announced as the host late last year, but we didn’t get to see him in action until earlier this week in an adorable clip that featured some very familiar faces.

In the clip, Josh gets some help with Blue from Steve and Joe themselves. People obviously got incredibly emotional at the sight of their old friends (myself included).
All seemed well and good until some people found Josh’s Instagram account.
Y’all, there were thirst traps a-plenty. Honestly? We’re definitely here for it. Who knew under that blue striped sweater was a total hunk?

Dela Cruz told BuzzFeed News , that he was aware of all the attention and flattered by it. “From the little bits I’ve gathered, it’s positive,” he said.
“It’s definitely flattering.”
“It is a little weird only because you don’t think in your life you’ll ever get this kind of exposure.” He also joked, “So thank you to everyone who’s keeping this story alive, and in my old age I’ll look back at the fond day that I was trending as a thirst trap on Twitter.”
