Sharon Osbourne has found herself in a huge amount of controversy this past weekend after revealing a TBH shocking story on the BBC .
While sitting down on the BBC game show “Would I Lie To You?”, Sharon revealed she once fired an assistant after forcing them to run into her burning house to save some artwork.
YEP, you read that right.
According to Sharon, the fire took place one Christmas night after she and husband Ozzy Osbourne had lit a candle and fallen asleep.
Upon discovering their house was on fire, Sharon ran to get her assistant.
“So I go into the guest house, and he’s going, ‘Everything all right?'” she recalled, “And I’m like, “No! House is on fire! Get out! Help! Go in, get the paintings out!” Sharon tells the audience.
After her assistant went and saved her dogs from the burning house, he was given an oxygen mask by emergency personnel which, inexplicably, angered Sharon.
“So then I said to him, ‘How very dare you! You work here and you get more paintings out right now,'” she recalled. “And I took the mask and I put it on my dog.”
The other celebrities on the panel were clearly in disbelief.
To make matters worse, Sharon then laughed about firing her assistant just days after the incident.
“We were laughing and laughing, and he goes, ‘I don’t see what’s funny about any of this.’ And he said, ‘I think I’m gonna have damaged lungs,’ and I mean, please,” Sharon remarked, with an eye roll.
“Then I said, ‘If you don’t think that’s funny, do you think this is funny?’ And he goes, ‘What?’ I said, ‘You’re fired.'”
The audience proceeds to burst into laughter at the revelation.
Twitter is understandably shocked by Sharon’s attitude towards firing her employee who risked his life to save her artwork.
There was TBH nothing funny about this.
It raises a lot of questions about Sharon’s behavior.
Needless to say, we’re all curious about the assistant’s side of the story.
