The first thing you have to do is pick up a long candle, like a taper or paraffin candle, which can be purchased for as little as $1 at the Dollar Store or any low-cost art store.
Then, you place it in a pot of warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften.

In the warm water, the candles will become pliable, and then it’s time to flatten them with a rolling pin, or even a wine bottle.
After that, it’s twisting time. Just remember not to twist the bottom so it can fit snuggly in your candle holder.
