If you’ve been trapped indoors for a month and you only vaguely know it, clap your hands!
Staying inside means keeping ourselves and others safe. It also means we have no concept of time or of days passing! That’s so neat for us.
Stay inside, stay safe, stay relating to these tweets. We’re all in this together.
This is so true.
There’s no such thing as time anymore. There’s just periods of waiting in between eating food or sleeping. What’s your go-to quarantine food? Mine’s mac and cheese. Yes I have gained weight, thank you for asking!
March was h**l on Earth.
That month truly felt like it was a decade long. Every single day heralded some new, horrifying piece of news. Luckily, it’s over now. We did it. We survived. Pour one out.
This applies to every single day.
This gets even worse if you take a nap in the middle of the day. Waking up is the most confusing thing ever. What year is it? How long have you been asleep? Who’s to say?
RIP to the song “AM to PM.”
I judge this by the sun, tbh. Is the sun still up? Coffee time. Is the sun starting to set? Switch to water. Is the sun almost down? Bust out the wine.
I’m so glad someone else said it.
I’ve been doing this exact thing for a month. It’s the ultimate helpful form of procrastination. Some day my computer will get updated, but today isn’t looking good. Tomorrow isn’t, either.
What’s a “sleep schedule” and how do I get one?
I can’t tell you how many friends of mine are still somehow awake when I’m waking up to start the day. To those brave troopers who have totally wrecked their sleep schedules: I salute you.
And now, this.
Is this what the passage of time feels like to dogs? Because I would very much like to not be experiencing this anymore.
One of the few upsides to quarantine is that we get to hang out with our animals more, tbh.
This is the most helpful account on Twitter.
If you’ve lost all sense of time, fear not. Introducing, the Thursday! What a concept! Twitter will keep you semi-sane. See one of their tweets? Congrats, it’s Thursday. See you in seven days!
Remember airplanes?
Haven’t thought about one of those in what feels like years.
At least the at-home airplane experience has plenty of foot room, way fewer people, and a bathroom that people can actually fit in.
