Tori Spelling has left fans reeling after tweeting out a cryptic message Thursday morning.
The 47-year-old took to Twitter to explain that her and her family had been in a scary encounter with a gunman earlier today.

Thankfully, the actress confirmed she and her family were safe and being taken care of in the aftermath.

On Thursday morning, Tori had a terrifying encounter with a gunman while out with her family.
“U know angels are watching when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time & you & kids & others around are unharmed afterwards,” the actress tweeted .
“Never in my life did I think I would witness a man w/a machine gun who then started shooting. All are safe & we thank the hotel staff. #grateful,” she concluded.
Tori has yet to give any further updates on the situation, but we’re glad to hear she and her family are doing okay!
