Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is going to go down in history, for many people, as the best Spider-Man of them all.
Spider-Man was always a beloved superhero, but he dangled between to worlds: Sony and Disney.
We have him back now, but it was a lengthy process to get him.
So in case you don’t remember, we’re going to catch you up real quick.

Basically, after Spider-Man: Far From Home , we got news that Tom Holland’s Spidey would no longer be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After a major outcry from fans, Tom Holland brought Spidey back, but not without a lot drinks and crying.
Bob Iger (head of Disney) called Tom Holland while the entire mess was happening, but Tom wasn’t in a position to answer.

“My family and I went to the pub quiz in our local town,” Tom said on Jimmy Kimmel. “We’re doing a quiz and I’m like, three pints in, haven’t eaten much, and I get a phone call from an unknown number.”
“I basically just said thank you for the opportunity, and then he said, ‘There’s a world in where we can make this work,'”

“Then there was a bunch of phone calls back and forth from Tom Rothman [chair of Sony Pictures] — he was really instrumental in the process.”
“We had a really good plan with what we were gonna do with Sony, the future of Spider-Man was still very bright, but it would’ve been a shame to take him out the MCU,”
“That’s where he belongs, and we’ve built such a strong character in that world, and it would’ve been a shame to lose that. But I’m just really glad that we managed to work it out.”
