It’s never easy when our favorite show goes off the air. It’s like losing a friend, or a limb! Maybe that’s a dramatic and bold statement to make, but I swear to you the world hasn’t been the same since Schitt’s Creek ended, so riddle me that!
Now, Tom Ellis is sharing a sweet moment from the last day on the Lucifer set that literally almost made me weep!
There’s no denying poor *Lucifer* fans have been on an emotional rollercoaster with the ~saucy~ biblical show.

Thankfully, these poor souls can now rest easy as the final episodes will soon be in their hands.
Fans recently just learned when the second half of season 5 will hit Netflix!
“We know that more episodes are what you truly desire. Season 5B arrives on Netflix May 28th,” the show’s Twitter account wrote.
Now, it appears the show has actually wrapped for good, as the show’s titular character, played my Tom Ellis, shared an emotional Instagram post.

“Today is the day. 6 years ago I started a journey with the most amazing group of people and today we say a fond farewell to each other,” he captioned the picture of a lighter.
The lighter had the show’s filming start and end date engraved in it — what a sweet, and appropriate token!
He concluded: “Thank you to every single crew member who has helped bring the story of #Lucifer to life. What a ride.”

The lighter was gifted to him by his wife, Meaghan Oppenheimer.
Needless to say, fans are experiencing a WIDE RANGE OF EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!
I can’t wait for May 28th!
