Architects are responsible for some of the world’s most beautiful and innovative structures.
This includes the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, the Linked Hybrid in Beijing, and the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada.
The architects behind these designs all had one job that they accomplished — big time. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for these 19 other architects and their designs — if you can even call it that!
This eventual collapse

Believe it or not, this pillar was straight a week earlier from when this photo was taken. And this is the first floor of a seven-floor building, so, um, RUN OUT OF THERE.
This pink and purple home

“I drive past this gem every day. Purple and pink, what do you think? I personally can’t stand it,” this Facebook user wrote. Personally, I can’t stand it, either. It looks like a Barbie dream house!
This insurance nightmare

This is taking “modern” too far. While it’s structurally sound since it’s sitting there finished with permits, it’s still terrifying to imagine living there. Every step you take could feel like your last.
Prince’s mansion

“Can we all just take a moment and acknowledge that Prince produced some great music, but he lived in a water treatment station,” this Facebook user wrote. Thankfully, it looks a lot better at night with purple lights.
This warped plaza

Believe it or not, this is not photoshopped! But I really, really wish it was since it’s making me dizzy just looking at it.
Every time you go for coffee would feel like stepping into a house from Dr. Seuss!
The pyramid

“A house I used to drive past in a little Iowa town,” this Facebook user shared. They added that they heard from locals that the place had a terrible leaking problem whenever it rained.
The measurement fail

There’s a lot of things about this building that causes anxiety.
First, the building is hella tall. Then, there’s the fact that someone didn’t understand basic measurements. This is enough to trigger anyone’s OCD.
The random lamp

“Saw this on a walk today. A table lamp, in a glass box, hanging from the roof of a carport,” this Facebook user shared.
Would it be so much trouble to install lights above?
The gerbil enclosure

Do you know those houses that you stick your hamster or gerbil in for playtime? Well, this house looks just like that. This must mean that a huge gerbil is an official homeowner here.
The dwarf lighthouse

“Kind of reminds me of a church (granted, a strange one) but it’s actually a house with a 6,000 sq. Ft. Garage… and its own car wash,” this Facebook user wrote. Could it also be a spaceship?
This maze

What does it matter that you live right next to the ocean when your condominium looks like this?
Since I can’t see the inside, I can only imagine that delivery drivers go through the corn maze to find customers’ homes.
The staircase to nowhere

“Just come on up!” Daniel yelled to his Uber driver. He was far too lazy to meet him in the lobby. Since Josh wanted those five stars so badly, he said “what the heck” and jumped.
This shell-ter

This is taking a love of turtles to a level it never needed to be. If this was a mobile home, it would take a long time to relocate. After all, turtles move very sloooooooowly .
The high-level shelf

“What in the ever living fudge is this,” this Facebook user wrote. Agreed! What they should’ve done is make the hole separating the kitchen and the living room as tall as the shelf to open the space up.
The sharknado

This was clearly inspired by the Sharknado franchise since they had flying sharks in it.
And just like that was a D-list movie, the world is giving this home a D on the architecture scale. A+ for sharkitecture, though.
The car dealership

Believe it or not, this is a car dealership! They were going for a more classy look that no one asked for. Columns like this belong at a museum or a funeral home.
The mess

This building looks like the plastic wrap that goes around a six-pack of beer or Gatorade.
But in the end, it’s all broken from people not knowing how to actually rip the drinks apart.
The crapper

“Toilet-shaped house (named haewoojae),” this Facebook user shared. They said that it was built by Sim Jae-Duck, the chairman of the organizing committee of the inaugural general assembly of the World Toilet Association. Makes sense.
The curb appeal

Did you even buy a house if it’s only 1/8 of it? It’s truly hard to wrap the mind around this. Probably because there is nothing to wrap your mind around! It’s a rectangle!
