DIYers are on a whole ‘nother level these days.
No one exemplifies that better than TikTok user and makeup artist Nikki @nikkisecretxx , who decided her beauty room needed a floral arch. Armed with some Ikea florals and a lot of ingenuity, she created a whole art piece in her room that will have your DIY senses buzzing. Let’s check it out.
Here’s what you’ll need.

Nikki used wall anchors to support the weight of the flowers, chicken wire for the frame, and floral wire to wrap around the flowers themselves. Make sure the floral wire is bendable but stiff.
Let’s build a flower arch!

First step: Ikea. Ikea has the most affordable faux plants around, save for maybe the dollar store. I would mix and match IKEA plants and dollar store ones to save some money.
Now, get you some pink flowers.

You’ll need a good amount of greenery to form the base of the arch. Go for dangly plants with a lot of body to hide the arch’s frame, then fill out the gaps with your pink flowers!
Attach the greenery to the frame.

Once your chicken wire is mounted to the wall, use your floral wire to wrap around the base of your plants. Create a hook, then loop it through the wire.
Here’s what your base will look like:

I’m already loving this. The green definitely covers a good portion of the wire, and you can see where Nikki left room for her brighter flowers. This is going to look great.
Pop those florals in.

This is SO satisfying. Nikki filled in the gaps with some faux roses, baby’s breath, and… well, quite frankly, I don’t know the names of the other plants.
I know they’re pink, and you can find them here for $4.99 . See? I helped!
After a lot of hard work, the arch was done.

Voilà! Nikki’s finished beauty area is even more gorgeous than I could have imagined. The hanging plants look gorgeous above her Ikea desk, and the clear nail organizers really let the polish and the arch shine.
But wait — she had one more trick up her sleeve.

I mean, of course, she added fairy lights! Nikki picked up a pack on Amazon and threaded them through the flowers. Go for LED ones to cut down on any fire hazards, okay?
A TikTok commenter offered up a VERY important final step.

I just want to thank Nilly here for thinking of something I never would have: spiders. Ew. Note to self: use peppermint to get rid of those pests.
So, what do you think? Would you try this project?
