Warning: Prepare to feel secondhand embarrassment for Tiffany haddish, because she went to the bathroom on a Zoom call, not realizing that everybody else on the call could see her.
Tiffany Haddish, best known for her role on *The Carmichael Show* recently revealed on the most embarrassing story of all time on *The Ellen Show: Home Edition*.
It’s so cringe. I can hardly bear to repeat this story .
Like most of us, Tiffany has been interacting with most people through video chat.

And during an important business meeting on Zoom, she faced something that I can only assume is everyone’s worst nightmare.
She explained that she was on the call with the intention of selling a show.

But up until that point, she had never used Zoom before. So, she wasn’t familiar with how it worked.
If you have ever used Zoom, you know that whoever is speaking is the person who’s face pops up on the screen.

But of course, that doesn’t mean that they can’t see you.
Unfortunately, as Tiffany revealed to Ellen, she, in fact, did *not* know that.

“I hadn’t been using [Zoom] at that point in time,” she said.
“And I thought, ‘Oh, whoever is on the front thing, that’s all we can see. Whoever’s talking is who we can see.’ Right?” Wrong.

“So I was like, ‘I ain’t gonna say nothing. I’ve gotta use the restroom,'” she said .
“And I didn’t want to leave the meeting, either. So I took the phone with me.”

At this point in the story, Ellen’s face was exactly what your face probably looks like right now, reading this.
Tiffany explained that she didn’t know that everyone else on the call could see her if they simply swiped to the next page.

“Because I didn’t know you could scroll over, and everybody could see everybody. I didn’t know,” she said .
“So I took it with me, and I start using the bathroom,” she explained.

“And they were like, ‘Tiffany, um, you know we know you’re in the restroom, right?'”
“I was like, ‘Y’all can see me?!,'” she exclaimed.
“Needless to say , I sold that show. I sold the show.”
I’m not so sure if that is actually “needless to say”.
If I ever did that on a business call, I would probably never hear from those people again.
“Because they felt so bad for you,” Ellen joked. “That’s a really good thing.”

“Guilt them into buying whatever you’re pitching,” she added .
Ellen also mentioned that Tiffany had been on another important video call prior to that one, and had forgotten to put a bra on.

“So, people were seeing your area,” she said pointing at her chest.
“This is true. Look,” Tiffany replied. “When you’re in quarantine, why wear a bra?”

“Let them thangs swang,” she joked .
And that is officially my new motto.
“Let them be free. No restrictions at this point in time,” she went on.

“But yeah — I had some action going on in there, looking like I was ready to feed somebody .”
Thankfully, this time, Tiffany remembered to put a bra on before her video call with Ellen!

She is slowly learning video chat etiquette! It’s just too bad she had to find out the hard way…
