Usually we can count on the end of summer to bring in new episodes and seasons of our favorite shows, but the pandemic we are currently in has put a halt to many of the filming, shooting, and editing schedules of these shows.
Luckily, for one of our favorite shows, this means a delay but not a total cancellation.
*This Is Us* is a hugely popular family drama.
The show, which follows the lives of every member of a family and contains all the romance, drama, heartbreak, and sadness you could ever want in a TV show, has had four seasons so far.
While the fifth season premiere won’t be happening as early as usual, NBC did just give fans of the show some great news.
NBC just announced the show’s 5th season premiere date.

This Is Us will return on November 10th at 9pm ET and in even better news, the premiere will be a full two hours long!
I think that extra hour will more than make up for the wait until November!
“We’re keeping up the momentum, for sure,” Justin Hartley said.
“Our show is at our best when we’re talking about real-life things that real-life people are going through that are hard and that are not going away anytime soon: mental health, sexuality, alcohol abuse, drug addiction, marriage, death. As long as we continue to tackle those topics that are truthful, honest and relevant, that’s when we’re at our best. And from what I’m gathering, it’s going to be a hell of a season,” show star Justin Hartley explained.
“We’ve decided to attack things head on,” said show creator Dan Fogelman.
Dan revealed in a tweet that the show will be tackling the issue of the pandemic within its fifth season.
While the waiting will be tough, we are so excited to see the fifth season of this incredible show!
