I think we can all agree that this far into 2020 we are in desperate need of some good news. Thankfully, while some TV shows and movies are being indefinitely delayed, the smash hit This Is Us is barreling forward, and now we’re going to be getting the next season even sooner than we thought that we would!
*This Is Us* has been one of the most popular shows of the past four years.
The four season family drama has followed all the members of an entire family though love, heartbreak, despair, and hope, and has obviously captured the hearts of tons of fans all over the country.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the season 5 premiere.
NBC has just announced that the two hour premiere will happen earlier than previously expected.
While the premiere was originally scheduled for November 10th, NBC has now announced that we’ll be getting the episode two entire weeks earlier when the show airs on October 27th.
Finally, some good news!
“We’re keeping up the momentum, for sure,” show star Justin Hartley said.
“Our show is at our best when we’re talking about real-life things that real-life people are going through that are hard and that are not going away anytime soon: mental health, sexuality, alcohol abuse, drug addiction, marriage, death. As long as we continue to tackle those topics that are truthful, honest and relevant, that’s when we’re at our best. And from what I’m gathering, it’s going to be a hell of a season,” Hartley explained .
Fans are obviously excited.
And so are we! While this is still a little later than normal for a new season premiere, it’s so awesome to finally get some good news about a show we love!
