All of the people who don’t want “The Last Of The Starks” spoiled for them are gone? Good. Because we need to talk about it briefly, just so we’re up to speed for this article.
We got deaths, we got cameos.
We found out that Winterfell has a Starbucks (the jury’s still out about Tim Hortons) and Jon was a d-bag to Ghost, yadda yadda yadda.
Did I mention the Starbucks thing? Nobody has stopped talking about the Starbucks thing.
I’m almost certain that if you’ve spent a minute on the internet in the last couple of days, you’ve seen the memes .
Also, someone else kicked it.
Yes, it seems that Rhaegal, the coolest of the dragons, brought his scaly foot to the proverbial bucket last week.
Rest in peace, big lil guy.
He was killed by a ballista operated by Euron Greyjoy’s fleet and there was little to no rejoicing from fans. Some fans were in mourning, others were angry that it didn’t seem likely.
Which means all we’re left with now is Drogon.
Which isn’t such a bad one to have.
He’s named after Jason Mamoa, he’s been with Dany since the beginning, he has acting experience from that one time he made a guest appearance on The Drew Carrey Show .
Or are we?
Could Daenerys… possibly have… other dragons?
Besides the main three?
No, it’s not possible! I refuse to believe it at all! There is no way you could possibly convince me otherwise, Jake.
Well, hear me out… me.
I know what you’re thinking: IsN’t DrOgOn A BoY? bOyS cAn’T lAY eGgS, mY tEaChEr SaId So.
But there are people who know a lot more about dragons, and they have something interesting to say.
Well, what this person on Reddit is trying to say dear reader, is that maybe she isn’t… a boy. Maybe Drogo is a lot more complex a character than we’ve assumed he… she… they are.
It goes as such:
The Redditor, named Justzxcvbnm, begins like this:
“This theory says that in the fifth season, when Drogon spends almost a whole season gone, hes actually laying eggs and is in fact a female thats why he was burning fields full of sheep, goats and etc to feed the baby dragons.”

“What made me rethink this theory was after I saw an EP5 promo where Euron Greyjoy looks up at the sky and hears a roar of himself.”
The clues lie in his reaction.
Euron hears that the “grunt is very different and gets scared. Since he has seen the dragons for a long time he woulnt be scared for just a dragon, but what if there’s more dragons?”
Could there be more dragons?
Well, they’re right about the promo.
We do see what could potentially be two creatures flying in the sky… I’m not sure, my eyes aren’t that great in my ripe old age of 24.
Anyway, they have some debunking to do.
To prove his theory, at least.
First off they say “Septon Barth believed that dragons had no sex defined, meaning that they could change sex if needed.”
Kind of like… a clownfish.
I knew I heard Drogon’s voice in Finding Nemo . Hang on a second, I need to update his IMDb. He’s really diversifying.
They go on to say:
That apparently, there’s no way of knowing a dragon’s gender until they lay eggs, which makes sense because they definitely lack… certain… appendages. If you catch my drift here, people.
Finally, he explains how they can lay eggs without… doing the deed
He says: “There is a thing called parthenogenesis, which is an action originated from an egg without fertilization, for example the Komodo Dragon, when it is a female, can simply reproduce without the male!”
So Drogon wouldn’t have had to spend any romantic time with the other dragons.
Which is probably good, because they’re all siblings. Not that that has stopped anyone in Game of Thrones before… or is currently stopping them. Jon.
Then again, why would they shy away from that?
Game Of Thrones has never been bashful about scenes with coitus. Then again, an intercourse scene between two dragons might be too much for an HBO audience.
Some people think there might also be dragon eggs hidden in the Stark crypts.
In The World of Ice and Fire mega-book, a fool who served the Targaryen family claimed the dragon Vermax laid eggs in Winterfell’s crypts. Some people think Daenarys will find them, and hatch them, and be Mother of Dragons plural yet again.
It’s also worth noting that during the trailer for next week’s episode, TWO creatures are flying in the sky.
I mean, it could be birds. But it could also be dragons. And the look on Tyrion’s face when he sees them doesn’t scream “oh look, ravens.”
