Barsik’s the name, and ruling over my kingdom from a place of comfort is my game.
I rule from the Manhattan Office of the Animal Care Centers of NYC.
I am a big, breathtaking, beautiful 41 lbs, but my foster mom is helping me work on losing weight so that I can once again be the world’s fiercest mouse catcher.
I know, I know. It can be intimidating to witness such grace and poise.
Not only am I glorious, but I’m also humble.
I don’t want to dwell on my tragic past…
My family was moving, and unfortunately couldn’t take my housemate Sukie and I with them.

After I was dropped off, I lounged in the ACC Office for a few days, since I was too big to be put in housing.
I think it was a good call. I wouldn’t want to make the other cats jealous.
Like all humans, my foster mom fell in love with me the moment she saw me.
My foster mom is a volunteer with @anjelliclecats in Manhattan.
It takes a special kind of human to handle all this extraordinary regal energy, and my foster mom seems to really be up for the challenge.
I’m on the road to recovery—even though I’m obviously already perfect.
Mom’s been feeding me an excellent selection of royal food options, though once I start my diet, I’ll only be eating wet food.
Sigh , it’s hard being me.
My fans are already promoting some of my best modeling work.
