If you’ve been watching The Masked Singer every Wednesday night which, of course you have been watching The Masked Singer every effing Wednesday night, you’d know Twitter has been rooting for the unicorn to go home since literally week one .
And honestly, do I think people were being a little harsh and kinda r**e this whole d**n time? Absolutely.
Well h8ters, you got your wish!
It’s week five and we’ve already seen the departure of nearly half the contestants so far!
The Hippo , the Pineapple , the Deer and the Poodle have all been revealed as Antonia Brown, Tommy Chong, Terry Bradshaw and Margaret Cho have all been unmasked, but people have been wanting the unicorn to reveal themselves.
People loved the Unicorn’s aesthetic (well I loved the unicorns aesthetic) but viewers were quick to point out the unicorn had seemingly zero professional vocal skills.
Which is FINE because it’s not a requirement for the show, obviously.
The clues about the Unicorn heavily emphasized a lavish upbringing in “Unicorn Hills” AKA Beverly Hills, baby!
“When I was little, I dreamt of singing, but someone I admired told me I was tone deaf,” said the Unicorn.
“All my life, people told me I wasn’t worthy.”
“I’m not going to listen to them any longer,” she continued. “No one can tell me who I can or can’t be.”
Inspirational AF, right? We love a little Unicorn magic.
I had really high hopes for our little majestic friend — but I think nerves got the best of her!
Her song of choice for the premiere episode? Fight Song by Rachel Platten.
Emotional! Inspirational!
Week three saw the Unicorn perform “Ooops! I Did It Again” which left everyone wanting more from the dancing horse.
We loved her commitment to the song though, because we love Britney!
However last night, the Unicorn’s performance of “I Love It” by Icona Pop landed her in the bottom — the judges did not love it :'(
Judge Ken Jong said it was clear the Unicorn’s performances were always about more than just the song, as it feels like the show has been “therapy” for the singer.
The reveal? TORI SPELLING!
“Thank you Masked Singer . This has been an amazing journey. I leave here strong and proud” she told viewers after her reveal. Honestly, she lived her best unicorn life and that’s all we could want for our fav 90210 babe!
