The Simpsons is known for its social and political commentary. Therefore, it makes total sense that the longstanding comedy show would be poking fun at the president and the upcoming 2020 presidential election in their upcoming Halloween special.
In a new teaser for the annual episode, Homer is seen contemplating a re-election vote for the president before 50 reasons why he shouldn’t vote for Donald Trump flash in front of his face.
*The Simpsons* is no stranger to having political commentary weaved into their longstanding comedy show.
It’s one of the plot lines fans have come to know and love, and it seems this year is (obviously) no exception!
The show just released the teaser trailer for their annual Halloween episode and it’s filled with anti-Trump sentiment.
The teaser starts with Homer Simpson walking into the voting booth while contemplating which candidate to vote for.
Suddenly, Lisa Simpson turns up, wearing a mask OF COURSE, and tells her father to remember “all that’s happened in the last four years.”

Homer gets to thinking of a list of 50 offensive quotes and actions said by Trump as they scroll past his face.
The list includes “Refused to release tax returns,” “Put children in cages,” and “Can’t get wife to hold hand.”

The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXXI airs this Sunday night on Fox.
