It’s no secret that fans of the beloved medical drama Grey’s Anatomy have been on an emotional rollercoaster with the show.

Last night, the show brought back one of the MOST LOVED CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME FROM THE DEAD— MCDREAMY!
That’s right, after five long years, fans got another look at Derek Shepard as he reaches out to wife Meredith Grey in an emotional dream-like sequence after she collapses from a long day at the hospital fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Naturally, fans could not contain their emotions and took to social media to express their emotions.
Twitter has been filled with Grey’s fan reactions —it’s so hard to believe it’s been five years since Derek’s death.
If this is what the season premiere has in store of us, I can’t wait to see what season 17 will bring!
