A Tik Tok user has just learned one very valuable life lesson: do not put large objects inside your mouth. You’re just going to regret it, sis.
According to Buzzfeed , Canadian teen Mollie O’Brien had to take a very embarrassing trip to the hospital after she accidentally got a full-sized harmonica stuck inside her mouth.

That’s right — a harmonica . Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that’s not how you’re supposed to play that instrument.
Apparently, it all started as a simple joke to try and make O’Brien’s little cousin laugh.
Apparently knock-knock jokes just weren’t getting the job done.
Of course, O’Brien’s silly little gesture quickly soured when the teen realized the harmonica was legitimately stuck inside her mouth.
As O’Brien explained, the laughing stopped as the reality of the situation began to set in.
“Every time I breathed heavily out of panic, it made a noise,” she told Buzzfeed .
Naturally, she did what anyone else in her situation would do: she grabbed her phone and filmed a video for Tik Tok.
O’Brien shared a series of clips showing her struggling to cope with her new mouthpiece.
“I just did a bad thing,” she captioned the video. “I regret the thing I did. And you’re wondering what it is. Well… I shoved an entire harmonica in my mouth and it’s stuck now.”
After sharing her ordeal with the good people of Tik Tok, O’Brien revealed the harmonica *situation* to her mother.
Thankfully, she wasn’t mad, but she was apparently “shocked she raised such a weird kid.”
Understanding this situation wasn’t going to be solved at home, O’Brien’s mom took her to the hospital where she was referred to a dentist who was able to extract the harmonica from her mouth, presumably painlessly.
Thankfully, O’Brien is now harmonica-free, and has even gained a loyal following of Tik Tok followers out of this whole experience.
Despite only having three videos posted on her account, the teen has now amassed over 26,000 followers, thanks to the harmonica video that currently has over 1.7 million views.
Hopefully this Tik Toker has headed the advice of the dentist responsible for removing the harmonica, who gently told the teen, “‘Let’s not do this again, OK dear?'”
