When actor Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy was about to perform his role on the streets of Turkey, he was probably intending to do his absolute best to sell it, but even he didn’t expect to get quite the reaction he received.
What would have just been a performance for those present has now gone viral thanks to the heartwarming actions of a stray dog.

Uzunsoy had just fallen off a horse and was meant to lie on the ground in pain.
As he lay on the stone in his false suffering, his performance was strong enough to convince a wandering stray dog that he needed comfort.
From his position on the ground, Uzunsoy didn’t even see the pooch coming.
He told The Dodo that at first he’d thought his costar had come over.
“I was very happy when I felt the dog’s kisses,” he said.
The audience didn’t mind that Uzunsoy broke character when the dog surprised him.
In fact, they cheered.
Everyone was perfectly okay with giving the dog some pets and love.
After a few moments, a fellow member of the cast escorted the dog away and the performance continued.
Once sure that the man was okay, the dog wandered away.
Now Uzunsoy is hoping to find the dog again.
The next day, he returned to the same place in hopes of reuniting, but the dog was nowhere to be found.
That hasn’t deterred him, though.
He spoke to people frequenting the area and learned that the dog does appear often.
So Uzunsoy plans to keep returning in hopes of meeting them again and finding them a forever home.
“I’ll look for him until I find him. I’ve always loved animals.”
