I don’t know about you, but I get a kick out of signs people put up for various reasons. Whether they are genius or totally ridiculous , I still get a good laugh.
So I thought it would be fun to give you some examples of people who tried to be clever but failed and those who nailed their assignments. Which one do you like better?

1. This Confusing Mistake
Obviously, this sign is trying to tell us to stay to the left to let others pass. However, for a simple message, they definitely picked a confusing way to explain it.
This Maternity Ward
So we go from confusing AF to something as cool and clever as this. They got that right. It’s really awesome to see that folks in the maternity ward can laugh at someone else’s expense, too.
2. This Number’s Game
Oh, wow. We finally reached the point where the COVID restrictions are easing up. Thanks for the heads up. I’m definitely not going to stop and read the fine print now. Can I bring all my friends to shop with me then?
This Interesting Admission
I feel like this sign could be posted on every lab or testing facility everywhere. The truth is that most of them don’t even understand what they’re doing, so they might as well admit it. What do you think?
3. This Awesome One
I don’t know about you, but my theory is that somebody already smoked something before they put this sign up here. Do you agree with me? I just hope nobody catches this mistake and leaves it hanging for all eternity.
This Stern Warning
Oh my gosh, imagine how sad this place must be to work, so they had to put up this message, huh? I sincerely feel bad for anyone who has to go there and do their job. Get it together, Carol, before you go in! That’s right!
4. This Blood Donation Sign
If you’re going to encourage people to donate their blood, this isn’t the way to do it. This sign here tried hard and still confused the heck out of everyone. Just scrap it and go back to the drawing board.
This Right To The Point One
If you’re going to deny entry to anyone, you better be very straight to the point. So absolutely no smoking dogs allowed. Do you hear that, Fido? You have to leave that pipe at home.
5. This Conflicting Message
I think this doctor’s office got their mask-wearing messages crossed. Which one is it then? No mask, no entry or wearing mask, and still no entry. I just need my dang prescription. Can I get a straight answer or what?
This Restroom Sign
I understand that you might get bored reading this sign. After all, you might have seen it before, but trust me, it’s totally worth it to read it until the end because the ending might just make your day.
6. This Starbucks Sign
Starbucks is offering accessible menus in braille or large print on a sign that is — neither braille nor large print. Um, okay. How are people who need it supposed to know about it? Think about it, Starbucks.
Meanwhile In Japan…
Yes, Dave, this goes out to you, man. Next time you use a public toilet, make sure you pee with finesse. Not everybody wants to see your mess all over the place. This is a refined restaurant, you know.
7. This Elevator Sign
This elevator here only allows one person to ride it at a time. So why are they using a sign that shows social distancing between two people? Somebody obviously didn’t think this through before they decided to hang it up, eh?
This Accurate Description
Oh my goodness. I’m totally laughing at this. However, I’m only laughing because the alternative is too sad to think about. Do you feel what I’m saying? What is this world coming to, huh? I can’t even fathom it anymore.
8. This Road Sign
Yes, let’s put a road sign high up that says only one thing – no! Not only is it confusing AF, but it’s also pretty distracting. Good going to whoever thought this would be funny on a busy road like this one.
All Roads Lead To Burger
Well, I knew it! As it turns out everything leads to a burger. Having a bad day? Have a burger. Having a good day? Have a burger. Happy = burger. Sad = burger. Everybody, let’s have a burger.
9. This Total Conundrum
It’s pretty obvious to me that whoever put up this sign was out of their mind. Or they just failed to see the irony of it, ha, ha! I wonder if anybody pointed it out to them, huh? Would you do that?
This Library Sign
Oh my goodness, haha. Who else loves this clever library sign? I had no idea that librarians were this funny. How about you? I guess it’s a total stereotype that all librarians have no sense of humor.
